Ovulation after miscarriage

Hi All,
im hoping somebody might be able to give a little advise or experience… I miscarried on 3rd october and tested negative again by 13th (so within 10 days)
I know the recommendation is to wait a cycle before trying again but I’m a very much whatever will be will be type person.
I’ve bought some ovulation tests from sainsburys and had a faint second line this morning but I’m not too sure what this actually means. A typical cycle for me would have meant ovulation last week but I know a miscarriage can cause a delay.
I guess in a nutshell, does a faint line mean I’ve already ovulated, I’m about to or it actually means negative?

Faint line is negative. You need to test continuously over a few days to get your peak. I've had 4 losses and never tested for ovulation straight after miscarriage. To be honest I've never been comfortable enough to have sex again so soon but I have regularly conceived having only had 1 or maximum 2 periods since a miscarriage.

After my miscarriage in November I started using lh strips once I tested negative. I ovulated about a week later than I usually would have done. Also, I am sorry for your lossx

Thank you very much! Sorry for yours also lovely.
I did another strip last night which was loads darker than the one in the more and darker than the control line so hopefully that’s a positive sign- like you that would have been a week later than “usual” x

Fingers crossed then! I was as happy as I could be that my cycles went back to normal quite quickly once I'd tested negative. I had been really worried they'd be all over the place for months!

Me too! When they said upto 3/4 weeks just to test negative I did have a little quiet panic haha… x

Looking back, do we think this is a positive ovulation test or faulty? I’m not sure if the control like looks abit “incomplete” and maybe absorbed too much? I’ve been getting an on off dull ache around my pubic area since last night and am not sure if it means ovulation based on the test or ovulation last week and possible implantation pains (wishful thinking lol)
