Is this ovulation test positive?

Hi there,

Last night I had sore nipples which is usually my sign ovulation is about to happen. Then today I had intense nausea (my other sign) and ewcm.

Took this test, it looks stronger than yesterday. Would this count as positive now? I'm CD18

Also, my partner and I haven't had unprotected sex for about 4 days. If we try tonight, will we be able to catch the egg?

Is this ovulation test positive?

I'd count that as positive and would definitely go for it tonight and for a couple more days. The egg likely hasn't released just yet, so tonight is probably the ideal window!

Worth sharing in case you are still testing in future, I use premom ovulation tests. It comes with an app you can upload the pics to and then that confirms if its positive. Sometimes the lines look strong, but the contrast is low so the app helps me really target my peak.

Thank you <3 I do have premom but it is funny sometimes, I never know if to trust it or not. It gave me a 1.09. To be fair my test lines are usually very faint so this was clearly stronger but just didn't believe it lol

We dtd last night so fingers crossed. won't be able to any other time. Today feeling ovulation pains so we'll see in 2 weeks :)

where are you in your cycle?

I would say yes but I'd want to see tests done beforehand to compare.

Use PreMom app to help you reading the tests. I got pregnant on second cycle by using strips, app and testing twice a day. My fertile window so so small, and even positive test wasn’t that dark as it should. Some women just won’t go above certain lvl apparently but that doesn’t mean they didn’t ovulate 🤷🏼‍♀️

Plumchumm Im (hopefully) due to ovulate tomorrow so just about to freefall into my half excited half frustrated tww 😂At least we can go through that together from the sound of it - good luck!

Ooooh good luck! We managed to dtd day of ovulation too. Wasn’t expecting to but at least we have done both days now.

oh yes we’ll be in the 2 week wait together at least, woohoo my favourite part! (not 🤣)
im definitely not symptom spotting anymore because my last few cycles I had ‘new’ symptoms I thought were pregnancy and it wasn’t. I think my cycles have just changed as I’ve gotten older

I've had an odd month because I didn't see any clear peak, hoping I just missed it in between tests and just have to keep testing/hope I've covered it right up until af arrives. Lets hope the next two weeks fly in!

I just want to update that it was in fact a positive ovulation test, and I got pregnant but had a chemical.

Sorry to hear this OP, hope you're okay. For what it's worth, I had a chemical pregnancy in July, and got pregnant again two weeks later in August. My twin girls are due in May 😊
