8dpo - spotting

Hi, I’m currently 2 years into TTC, I’m 8dpo at the minute. I have just experienced some spotting, my period is due Friday, is it possible for this to be implantation bleeding? I’ve never had it before (never been pregnant). I also experienced some cramps a couple nights ago, but to be honest I thought it was trapped wind pain, is there anything else this spotting could be? And should I be worried? Thank you in advance x

It’s possible it’s implantation, the timing is good, but in 4 years ttc, I’ve had everything under the sun tell me it’s my month when not. There are other reasons that can cause spotting, but, like you I’d be hoping implantation, especially if it’s unusual for you. I think roughly two days after implantation hcg should be high enough to detect on a sensitive test, perhaps even sooner… if that’s what you choose to do! Good luck :)
