IVF funding confusion

I Might be overthinking this but help me put my mind at ease please. A month ago our funding was sent to our local ICB for approval, 2 weeks later they needed clarification over some of the wording that the consultant used. This was sorted and sent back off, I was told by the nurse at the clinic we have chosen that as soon as she heard anything she would tell me. On Friday I received a notification from my local hospital NHS trust app that I have been given a telephone appointment with the consultant next month, this consultant also works at our chosen IVF clinic. Maybe I’m over thinking everything but in my head I’m worrying that our funding has been denied, why would I receive a notification from the NHS hospital app and not for the IVF clinic? no explanation given about what this telephone conversation is about other than my partner needs to attend too. Has anyone had this before? I can’t think of any reason why we will be denied funding, our results are all fine and our diagnosis is unexplained infertility. I tried contacting the hospital and clinic on Friday but haven’t heard anything back.

I don’t think a consultant would bother with a telephone consultation re funding, they would just get the secretary to do that.
It’s likely to be an initial consultation to discuss the next steps imo.

If the funding is via the NHS then the consultant will likely use his NHS hours to see you. A consultant definitely wouldn't be ringing you about funding... it's a bit below their pay grade for want of a better phrase.

It definitely sounds to me like you’re being booked in for an initial consultation to get the process started. If your funding was denied you’d usually get a letter, never heard of anyone having a phone call with a consultant for this - the funding is not really to do with them it’s decided separately, they’re just allocated a list of patients.
