I dont want to get my hopes up....

We have been trying to conceive for 4 years. I feel so heavy as if my period is coming and got my usual preperiod bleed yesterday...

I am 12dpo and my bbt temp spiked this morning, after a dip 7dpo, a rise at 8po and then gradual decline until this morning which is why I thought test. But thought it would be stark white!

Is it? Or is it an evap....i read the test within 5 minutes....

I can see a line! I don’t want to get your hopes up unnecessarily but I get cramping starting around 6dpo and lasting until AF every single month without fail, and I still had it the month I got my BFP, there was nothing different about that cycle! So you’re not out until you’re out!! Xxx

Atleast I am not going mad!

I had the most awful cramps right after I posted my first message...as though my period was going to come right there and then! But these have subsided now, just feel a bit heavy.

@PoppyPeaches I have been have mild cramping since 3 dpo but know that was probably to do with post ovulation progesterone.

In 4 years I have not once even had a glimpse of what could have been a line....always stark white.

I am going to retest in a couple of days.....super scared 😢🤦🏻‍♀️

TMI but pinkish cm....which I usually get a couple of days before AF turns up.

Think it was a faulty test....maybe I dipped it for too long or something 😢

I don’t think it’s faulty. Looks like a good positive to me. And a lot of people get the cramps and even a bit of bleeding when their period is due but they’ve fallen pregnant. Almost like the body is on autopilot and then “ooh, we shouldn’t be doing that”.
So don’t give up hope. Remember that twinges and cramps etc are also a good sign for implanting and uterine changes to support a pregnancy.

Giving false hope is pretty counterproductive.

It’s a totally pink line you don’t need to squint to see, and on one of the not so easy to read tests. What’s bad about it.

@EmPeEf thank you for your optimism! I will test again in a few days and see! As I said...I am not getting my hopes up. My spotting has stopped though! Lets see shall we!

@Outside9 whilst I appreciate that it is not the best line, will probably be a false positive and that you entitled to your own opinions, there is no need to be rude. @EmPeEf was only trying to be positive and supportive.

Wasn't rude, it was an honest question. But if you're content I don't need to be offended in your behalf.
