I'm 13dpo and just worrying the line isn't dark enough. I had a loss in November and am so worried it will happen again!

I’m sorry for your loss.

I don’t know a great deal about pregnancy tests but Im fairly sure it can depend on a lot of things such as how concentrated your urine is not specifically or just viability of the pregnancy.

Someone who knows more will be along in a minute.

The test line is fine.. if you test on a frer the line would much darker. Clearblue need a lot more hcg to get the control line as dark as the test line. You dont know when the embryo implants and if it implanted later in the cycle the line wont be as dark. What matter is if the hcg keeps doubling from here on out..

BudgetBuster · 17/10/2025 13:53

Looks plenty dark to me.
I find clearblue a bit crappy though tbh. If you had a pink dye it'd be much clearer. Try not to worry ☺️

EmPeEf · 17/10/2025 15:54

Yes 👍🏻

Lollystar15 · 18/10/2025 05:54

Thank you for your reassurance everyone. I know I'm panicking and line progression doesn't really indicate much so I will stop testing once I have run out of tests (which should be Monday).

Did three more (🤣 of course) tests with FMU today. Period due today.

FRER is negative.
Test strip is the darkest it has ever been and clear blue digital is showing 2-3 for the first time ever. I love the consistency!

Do you take biotin by any chance? Is it in one of your supplements?

Something definitely seems off about that frer test. That should be the strongest test.

Other wise op your other tests are perfect.

sisterdaughter · 18/10/2025 10:45

Ha! How weird, sounds like a faulty frer? I never have bought one because i got it into my head that they’re often poor quality fakes. Though the entire internet doesn’t seem to agree so I dunno why I think it!

but you must be pleased with your 2-3 weeks at 14 dpo… spot on!

I've just checked and yes biotin is in the supplement. Do you mind me asking why? Thank you :)

It stops first response tests from giving a positive. You’re others are definitely correct so I reckon that’s what’s going on with the FR 👍🏻

I never knew that! You learn something new every day! Thank you for sharing that, I wouldn't have even thought of that!
