11DPO - faint line

Hello all,
Had a very faint positive on a test yesterday at 10dpo (basically a shadow and you had to squint to see it). This is my test today. Is this a faint line for 11DPO? I had a chemical pregnancy last month so feeling very anxious and expecting the worst 😞

That’s a better than faint line, I see it quite clearly. Early days of course, but good luck OP!

Hopefully will be able to give you peace of mind, this was my tests at 10 DPO onwards, your 11 DPO test is much darker than mine was.
I also had a miscarriage in August, so was super anxious this time around

Thank you both so much for taking the time to coming back to me!

@Jhpr I’m sorry to hear about your previous loss! The anxiety is just horrible isn’t it.

I’ll test again tomorrow morning and hope for a stronger line. I’ll post an update tomorrow. Thanks again xx

That's a very clear line for 11dpo. Congratulations. Try not to think of previous chemical too much (I know harder said than done).

If you can wait until tomorrow to test again you'd see much better progression as HCG tends to double every 48 hours (and obviously this early it's still relatively low). Although I'm sure it'd be darker today anyway.

Have you tested again today?

MissT90 · 17/10/2025 16:11

@JHpr hi, thanks for checking in. Unfortunately the line isn’t any darker today so looks like it’s another chemical 😞. I’m booked in for bloods and ultrasound next week to see if there’s a reason why this has happened 2 months in a row. Hopefully it’s just bad luck and nothing else.
wishing you the best of luck with your pregnancy ❤️ x

Maybe no consolation but the way I have always thought about chemicals having had lots is if we weren't actually testing early, we'd never know about them. So we could all be having multiple chemicals a year or in a row but we never know.

Hopefully not the case for you and hope it progresses well. Keep us posted x

11 DPO is still early. I had a faint positive like this 2 days before my period, and then once my period was missed I done a digital. It’s easier said than done but please don’t count yourself out until AF is due. Sending baby dust xx
