Hi all

I am BF and my periods came back a few months ago, but v irregular. 3 with 6 week intervals then the last was 3 1/2 week gap.

I am very impatient! But also tight and don't want to do a test too soon.

Will tesing at 28 days from last period show a result as if I am up the chuff implantation will have happened and previous gaps between periods are irrelevant?

Or is there some reason tht maybe it won't show until 6 weeks or something?

Thanks all!

I would wait until 5/6 weeks to do a test, and have sex throughout this time as you don't know when you are ovulating!

Should add that I got a positive with ovulation stick this month at day 14 so if managed to catch the egg it would have been then i.e. 14 days ago.

well in that case, if you are certain when ovulation occurred, I would wait at least 14 days after ovulation (I personally would wait a few days longer)

Good luck!

Ooh just what I wanted to hear! Will test later when DH gets in I think (excited but at same knowing it would be flukey to catch first egg after baby)!

Thanks ever so much belgo!
