Light lines and not getting any darker

Hello, I know no body can tell me for sure but I’m hoping someone has experienced similar
My last period was 1st September which now makes me 5 weeks pregnant but all the lines on my tests are so faint and aren’t getting any darker😔
I have a scan at EPU on Wednesday but I’m thinking I should prepare for the worst.

Try not to worry, it’s still really early days. How do you feel? Any symptoms as yet?

No-one would ever tell me the truth when I was always so optimisitic and it always made it worse...this is exactly what mine looked like for my chemical, and they should really be darker for 5w :( so sorry lovely.

@Gonk123, I have no symptoms at all but I didn’t with my daughter either so I know that can’t really tell me much either

@NorthernNell79thank you for your honesty! I tested again this morning and got stronger lines but I’m still not feeling too great about it. My DD is 7 months and i had many miscarriages before having her so I know it’s too good to be true. I have a NHS scan tomorrow as I have to take medication if pregnancy is in the right place so will defiantly update.

Im so sorry for your losses.

I had this recently, my lines took forever to get darker but my symptoms were not as bad as with my pregnancy with my DS, and I just felt something was off in my gut. Sadly I had a blighted ovum and miscarried 4 days after the EPU scanned me.

I did however read plenty of threads with positive outcomes! Try not to loose hope and I hope you’re scan goes well ❤️

I do hope you’re doing okay now!
I think I just need to see what my scan says and take it from there before I drive myself crazy with tests😂 I’m taking it as a positive that my clear blue was really strong but only time will tell.
I will defiantly update this thread after my scan today thank you❤️
