Hi lovely,

It’s possible the chemical has had an effect on your hormones for the next cycle.

OPKs detect LH hormone - when this gets high enough your body releases an egg - it may be the case that yours has risen on 13th to give a positive opk but not enough to trigger the release of an egg, which is why your body has tried again on 25th and hopefully been successful

Do you know how long your luteal phase is? If you have ovulated on/around 25th then period would be due however long after ovulation you normally come on - just be a late period rather than skipping one. A good thing someone told me is there is no such thing as a late period just late ovulation

hope that all makes sense and best of luck xxxx
