FRER advice

Hi everyone, I am 6dp5dt today and had some frer tests waiting for me when I got home from work and couldn’t resist. I have never used them before.

i checked at exactly 3 minutes and at first thought negative then on closer inspection i could see a line (too faint to photograph though 😞)

I think it’s probably an evap but from googling evaps shouldn’t show within the time frame….. So now I’m wondering if it could have been an early bfp considering it wasn’t FMU as well.

To those of you that use frer frequently, can you always see the second line if you look hard enough?

I will of course try again either tomorrow or Sunday x

Evaps don’t normally show quickly on FRERs but indents can come up pretty instantly. They are normally grey/white in colour though.

This is my FRER from 9DPO on 7th January earlier this year. My son was born on 2nd August (7 weeks early). This line was so faint, I almost threw the test away as negative. I had to really hold it up to the light, but he was there :). I waited 48 hours and the next test showed an obvious line. All you can do is wait and test again. Good luck!

@Yetegsah ok maybe it was an indent then? Didn’t realise they were different things to be honest but that makes sense!

@KittyFantasticahuge congratulations on the birth of your little boy 🩵 and thank you for sharing your test. Mine was definitely fainter than yours, but I swear I could see something 😫 will test again in a couple days 🤞🏼

Hi no I didn’t unfortunately 💔 I think if you look hard enough on a frer you can actually see the indent, which I didn’t realise. That’s obviously what it was!
