Hi everyone,
I’m a bit early but I liked having people to chat to last cycle who were going through similar. It can feel isolating having nobody to talk to about it other than DH when it’s taking up your every thought.

CD5 for me today. Will start uploading LH strips to Premom from CD 10.

Going to try the ‘sperm meets egg’ method this month to see if a bit of structure helps.

Sorry to hear that @Kerrylfit’s really frustrating to be just a number to them, and for you it’s your whole world. I totally get it. Are you able to book in for a private scan? If not you can only keep calling, or wait and see if the brown spotting worsens. When I had the same last month they said spotting, especially brown, is so commonplace they are not remotely concerned about it.

im going through my own situation, having tested positive on a CB fast and early and a whole bunch of ic sticks I then got a vvvvfl today on a different brand of cheapy. So either this is not a new pregnancy after all and is fading hcg or the new tests are crap. 🤷

@Kerrylfthats really difficult.
I am a midwife, and all gynae and maternity services are very stretched at present. Everything is done based on clinical need rather than waiting time.
The symptoms you have described here don’t sound too concerning and can be normal in early pregnancy. They know you are there and they know that other than reassurance for you, not a lot can be done at the moment. I know that’s really difficult to hear.

I would sit tight and wait for their call. If you can’t do that, you could look into private options.

@bluepears96i hope I didn’t come across rude about the midwifery services in my reply before - I understand all to well the pressure they’re under. I honestly believe if men had to go through half of what we have to go through then maternity services would be much better funded and supported.

in terms of your peak it looks correct because that test line looks darker than the control line to me, however it doesn’t confirm that ovulation actually occurred, it might be that it didn’t trigger rupture and is trying again?

@7nationbabythats ok, it’s just the reality of the NHS at the moment. Even we feel like just numbers at times.
Sorry to hear your line has faded. That is a gutting feeling. Have you retested today?

I have done an AM and PM OPK today and it does appear I peaked on Monday. Lots of ovulation tugging and pulling kind of pains yesterday evening too. Now 1DPO and so the trenches of the 2ww commence!!!

3 people asked me ‘when are you going to have a baby?’ today at work or similar. Then when I said I could smell a weird smell someone replied ‘ooh are you pregnant?’ …. It’s wearing thin. Feel like since the wedding I’m just constantly being asked.

I have tested on a clear blue early detection and got a clear positive yesterday, then negative on a digital today (don’t worry, I’m well aware of the ridiculous number of tests I’ve taken) and then went for blood test today so waiting to hear back about that!! After all of this, I then had spotting when I went to take the digi an hour ago so maybe af is actually about to start just one day late. I’ve exhausted myself with all the obsessing but I can’t seem to help it 😭

no sign of it - had some cramps over the past few days but temp is still up so not expecting it to be on time just to add to the stress lol
I think my next cycle I will try and step away from bbt and tests - and even the web - it all gets very consuming - wishing you all the best and I will pop on it by some chance I test positive 😂

Been lurking around for the last week or so whilst I went through the start of my cycle. Ovulation was yesterday, I don’t usually ‘notice’ ovulation at all but yesterday I had lots of cramping, felt sick and bloated and generally just not particularly well! Entering the TWW now and not planning to test until missed period to save my own feelings. It’s going to be a long two weeks!

We are TWW twinnies :) Was due to ovulate today according to my apps but think it actually happened yesterday as I had cramping on my left side and not felt anything today.
Want to try to wait until my Flo app tells me to test (Oct 20th) after missed period but I know I’ve got cheapies in the cupboard so may cave before then 😆
We can try and get through the TWW together!

Sorry to hear about your bfn @Tes004 , good idea about taking a step back, I feel much better for having a week off even though it was self imposed by losing my thermometer and going in holiday! Hopefully you get your bfp soon

I reckon im 9dpo and hoping to test on Saturday if af doesnt arrive - is anyone about the same timings as me?

Hi all, I’m on my 3rd cycle TTC, my first cycle ending in a chemical pregnancy.
Currently CD9 and I think I tend to ovulate about CD16 so close to my fertile window. Hoping to wait until missed period/flo app tells me to test as I find it takes over my life otherwise!

Currently waiting on a GP appt as experienced some bleeding separate from my period for the last two cycles … I thought the first was down to chemical pregnancy, now it seems like it’s not so a bit worried. Hoping it’s just a hormonal thing as only been off microgynon for 3 months now (if anyone’s experienced similar would be reassuring to hear!)

Hey guys has anyone used these b&m tests before? I have a thin line on this test that came up during the time frame but obviously don’t want to get my hopes up as i’ve been ttc for a while now

The line is more prominent irl than in the pics im just fed up of analysing and taking pics of tests now for them to be negative 😣

@amey44 defo think there is a shadow there but I’m not the most reliable! How many DPO are you? Have you got any other brands to test with?

@LaurLou22 I’m unsure on dpo I am assuming around 10-11dpo? I tested again with a poundland test and couldn’t see anything but I think they’re slightly less sensitive. I guess it’s just a waiting game now aha 🙃

tested on 7&8DPO but of course BFN’s, don’t know why I do it!

Decided to distract myself from TWW by going to the Aldi wooden toy event 🤯🤣 feeling slightly traumatised now!

Oh my god I don’t know what to do with myself! I have 2 really faint lines. 9DPO. Can you see them? Or am I crazy. Never seen any lines before!
