8 cycles in TTC - advice please

Hi ladies,

Looking for some advice or reassurance please ♥️

I came off the pill January 2025, I was very lucky and my cycles returned pretty soon after, I began tracking LH and had my first positive ovulation test in February. Each month, my cycles have been regular and I get peak LH tests and BBT confirming ovulation. I have a healthy 13-14 day luteal phase with no spotting beforehand.

We have been TTC since March so currently on cycle 8 with no luck. We are both 29, fit and healthy with no medical issues. I have had a transvaginal scan that checked my ovaries, uterine lining, follicles etc, I was told everything was textbook and nothing would indicate any worries for me. We have regular intercourse and timed/planned intercourse over my fertile window. (Sperm meets egg plan)

We are both taking all of the recommended supplements, eat healthy, exercise and get good sleep each night.

I'm so worried I haven't had a single positive pregnancy test yet. I know it says healthy couples can take up to a year but it's so hard when I'm seeing people fall straight away or within 3-4 cycles of trying. Please can someone share any reassuring stories who were in the same boat as me? My head is spinning that we could have underlying fertility issues and I am so scared, even though there are no symptoms of this, besides not getting pregnant.

If it took you slightly longer, please share ♥️
One very worried, deflated and sad TTC girl x

It took my good friend 10 cycles to catch. That baby is 26 now :-)
Did you know it's best to orgasm after your DH? The spasms push the sperm much further up.

My friend was exactly the same as you. All tests were normal, having sex at the right time etc.. She never found out the reason why she couldn't get pregnant but after nine months went down the IVF route and has a gorgeous little girl and is pregnant again with her second IVF baby. So if it's not happening (and there's still a good chance it will!) then it doesn't mean it won't with a bit of help.
