LH peak. When do I ovulate?

So I think I’m going to get my LH peak in the morning. My tests are getting darker. My question is, if I get them in the morning? When will I actually ovulate? As last cycle my ‘peak’ lasted about 12 hours when the tests were the same ‘darkness’

I only ask as my husband works away but he is back Sunday. I am gutted thinking I am out this cycle as we will only have Sunday as our only shot.

Ovulation is usually 24-36 hours after the start of your peak, obviously that’s a typical cycle so for some it will be slightly sooner/later.

Thanks. I got this this morning. Is this classes as my ‘peak’ or will it be ‘peak’ if it gets darker?

Considering if I should drive to see my husband or if tomorrow would be a good chance for us

It is a peak/positive once the test line is darker than the control line so I would say that is positive.

I thought I would throw a spanner in the works and recommend seeing your husband as soon as possible. According to this article, the most fertile days are the day you get your positive LH surge and the day before.

My understand is that the main reason for this is that it’s better to have the sperm waiting for the egg, than the other way around because sperm can live inside you for up to 4-5 days whereas your egg only hands around for 12-24 hours so if you can have the sperm sat waiting for the egg to arrive then you have a higher chance of conceiving x

Thank you for your advice. I also did think this so I did go and see him today. Fingers crossed it was worth it 🤞

i am still getting very very dark tests today so 36 hours from my first dark test. Have I ovulated already or am I still in the ‘peak?’

I need to start doing temp to confirm I think

@MCMP13 LH levels drops back to normal baseline once you have ovulated

I personally get ovulation pain 12 hours after my peak each time ! So I would also say DTD when you see the LH rising and definitely on peak day x

Thank you. Hopefully I caught it, suppose I will see in 10 days! X
