Hi, I conceived very quickly with DL1 and a couple of years later started trying for DL2. I got pregnant very quickly again but had a natural miscarriage at 8 weeks in July. We have been trying for a couple of months but it is taking longer to get pregnant. Is this normal or has anyone experienced something similar?

Hi @Star845610 I am sorry that you have went through loss. I had my first loss in Feb and that was then followed by a chemical in March. I am now pregnant again (10 weeks today) and we conceived in July. Hoping for a successful pregnancy this time around. This will be my first baby. You'll hear so many stories about how you're more fertile in the months following loss. For some this is true but not all. I think those stories put more pressure on the desire for a positive test. My GP told me the positive in my case was that I was getting pregnant. Your body might just need a little time to heal and recover. Mc at 8 weeks still takes time to recover. I believe my chemical following the mc was because my body was simply not ready. Good luck xx
