Partner used the pull out method (yes I know very stupid), he pulled out before he ejaculated.

I looked on my period tracker and the day we did that was the day before ovulation. Period isn’t due yet.

But just want to ask if anyone’s gone through this and what the result was?

I don’t really know what you want from peoples replies if I’m honest. You can get pregnant if you have sex around ovulation. Some people will, some people won’t. That’s the result, you’ll find out in a couple of weeks. I hope you get the result you’re after x

Hiya. You definitely can get pregnant and the risk is obviously higher around ovulation. However this is the ‘method’ of contraception I use (it wouldn’t be a disaster or a shock if pregnancy occurred!) and it’s worked for me for the last couple of years without resulting in pregnancy. I’m not advocating it, just my own experience.

I mean, I feel like I was lied to since teen hood about the liklihood of pregnancy from sex, whenever it is. Obvs I have problems (~5 yrs ttc) but imho it’s v unlikely you’d get pregnant from it. If you’re really worried and def don’t want a pregnancy then there’s the morning after pill if you deal with it quickly?
