Is this test positive?

Hi, I did this test in the afternoon today as I'm 46 days late from my periods which have been irregular for the last 3 months. Is this positive or an evaporation line? Thanks

How quickly did it come up? That late and I'd expect a positive immediately

@Springadorable it -appeared after 3 minutes and was supposed to read the test within 5 minutes so not sure what to make of it.

I'd retest. It may be a genuine positive but I wouldn't trust it at this point

I can see a line. Maybe you skipped one period but ovulated on the next cycle and that egg was fertilised? Hence why it’s so faint even so long after last period?

@Lmnop22 I didn't realise you can ovulate even with a missed period O.o but maybe I did. I'll check again just to be sure then. Thanks!

I think so. Like maybe last cycle (the first 28-35 days since your last period) you didn’t ovulate so had no period/missed it for some other reason. But then after that you will still potentially ovulate the next month on track. So if you ovulated after 10 days or so from your missed period that’s day 38 or so since your last period and at 46 days you’d be 8dpo which could show a faint line like this.

Update: checked again today and it's a bfp :) read within 2 minutes.
Only unsure about my conception date as last period was 2nd of August and I've been having irregular periods lately :x
