If your test was a dye stealer or as dark as control, did this come up immediately or is it how it dried down? I'm 6 weeks and consistently produce very light tests. However they dry slight darker and they equal control.
Today's test was really light but after 50 mins it turned into a dye stealer, for the first time.
My question is, should the tests come up dark straight away? I've been concerned about mine being so light. Does the fact the dry dark , and if I have a dye stealer after this long is it invalid?
I've been concerned that my hcg isn't rising ( past pregnancy loss anxiety) as they are so light when I read them or do you think the fact its dried down darker than control now whereas didn't before is a good sign?I guess I'm just feeling really stressed that my levels seem so low and I wonder when people post photos of dark lines if they immediately came up within 5 mins

At 6 weeks I’d expect an instant dark line tbh, but are you using branded tests or some random cheapies, and are you always using the same brand for continuity?

Hey OP!
I’m around 6 weeks and tested this afternoon for whatever reason (really felt like I needed to), and the test line was a dye stealer straight away, there was hardly anything for the control line. I have used the same test throughout though and have read on these forums that some women have only ever had faint lines and still had a positive outcome.
Have you tried any other tests? It could just be that you have faint lines on a particular test x

@Lookingtogrowthefamily I have taken a clearblue at the start and had a much stronger line . I don't have anymore at the moment however my clearblue digitals have been stuck on 2-3 weeks since 3rd September so I don't really know what's going on .
The test shown in photo, I used them last pregnancy and always had dark lines

The test i used this morning said the 3 minute result was valid and after 10 minutes changes were invalid.
