FRER line progression stalled

Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone has any positive stories about FRER line progression stalling slightly early on. I’m 13dpo but to me it looks slightly lighter than 11dpo and definitely not doubly dark for 48hrs later.

I had three miscarriages before a bunch of poor result ivf, then conceived my daughter naturally aged 40. I’m 42 now so obviously age and history are against me!

Would love any hopeful tales.

xx

It’s a stark positive-I’m not sure it could doubly darken!
Congratulations 🎉

My 13dpo was similar to my 11dpo too, and the tests dry darker so your 11dpo test probably looks darker now than it did when you first took it. Congratulations!

13dpo is definitely darker then 11dpo! This is how my progression looked 19 weeks pregnant now x

Thanks all ❤️ This is what recurrent loss trauma does to you, I guess?? My worry is that I have photos of the test progression with my daughter and they get consistently much darker, so I’m just nervous. But I guess only time will tell. Thanks for reassuring words xxx

A day late here but I agree woth the other poster your 13dpo looks strongest easily. Look at how the control line has also diminished at 13dpo compared to 11dpo. Totally get the anxiety, I’ve only ever had mc’s so am well versed in test gathering!

Thank you - I’m so sorry about your MCs, they’re so hideous to go through. Still no bleeding and I’ve stopped doing tests (15dpo was darker but who knows if dark enough) because it won’t change anything or show me anything conclusive. I’ll just hope I get to 6wks and book a scan 🤞 I have zero symptoms (still only 4wks so mega early) but around this time with my daughter I was definitely getting sore boobs and some nausea. Let’s see 🤞

UPDATE: For anyone watching / searching or wanting to know what happened, the line kept progressing until it was, frankly, obnoxiously dark and totally dye stealy, but all my symptoms tapered off around 8wks and I knew something was up.

Early NHS scan showed embryo was still 6wks, no heartbeat. Am waiting to miscarry. Currently 9wks and no bloody sign of it happening! Line still a total dye stealer. Hoping it will happen naturally (though ideally not over my daughter’s second birthday party next weekend 😞) as I don’t want to thin/damage my lining with another d&c.

I do think early line progression is weirdly accurate and (although scientists would disagree) in my case have been pretty diagnostic. Line progression with my daughter was doubly dark every 48 hours, clear as day. With this pregnancy I knew something was going wrong this early on.

So sorry to read your update @Presently83 , I hope you get lots of cuddles with your daughter. I had the exact same as you and wanted a natural miscarriage, and it happened at 10 weeks. Here's hoping your body gets the message soon, and that it happens nowhere near your little one's birthday.

I agree with you about line reading, mine helped me to diagnosed an ectopic very early (after the MMC). I hope you have support around you.

Thanks so much @Nosejug- it’s so comforting hearing from other women who’ve been through all this hell xxx

honestly, mumsnet and reddit are lifelines during times like these. When the MC started, I was chatting with a woman in America who was experiencing it at the same time. it felt so comforting knowing I wasn't alone in the moment. I'll be thinking of you.

@Nosejugthank you 💞
