Hiya, I'm TTC (cycle 3 so I know I'm being a keen bean already posting and analysing things so closely, just trying to learn my body after being on hormonal birth control for the last decade). I convinced myself I was pregnant this cycle but just had a BFN 😞 can anyone explain my BBT chart? Google is an absolute minefield of info and feels so overwhelming. Recent blood results showed low progesterone but positive LH tests and rise in BBT made me think I had ovulated? So confused! Thank you ❤️ ETA that my Oura ring and LH tests both suggest ovulation were a little later than NC suggests...

You’ll get there - it’s so complicated- best thing to do is book a break away you’ll get pregnant and have to (happily) cancel xxx

Fingers crossed! It's early days for us as we're on cycle 3 but the progesterone results being low has worried me as I know it can take couples years to fall and I'm so desperate to be a mum. Booking a trip isn't a bad idea, either happily cancel or take a break from TTC! Xx

I don't quite understand why your app thinks that you are fertile for days after when it says ovulation occurred?? The egg doesn't last that long.

I did BBT with a proper thermometer and used Fertility Friend to plot data, it gave a very clear graph each month

So weird isn't it! It initially suggested ovulation was cycle day 20, which made sense with the LH tests, my last cycle and BBT but after then it suddenly pushed it back which I am certain is wrong.

My oura ring does the temps and plots them on the oura app and NC but I may try that one too! Soo confusing!! Thanks for the input!

This is the temp graph on Oura which has plotted ovulation more accurately in my mind x

I would try using a different app or proper thermometer to be honest. I'll attach a pic of one of my charts. The actual temperatures are recorded and plotted and it's so easy to see the biphasic graph. The little green plus symbols under the graph are the positive LH tests, the crosshairs show ovulation and then you easily see the luteal phase temp rise. This is Fertility Friend
