First ovulation less than 2 weeks after ERPC?

Got a +OPK yesterday and lots of EWCM today, but there's a bit of blood in it as well. Could I be ovulating so soon after ERPC - or is it just my body readjusting? My PG symptoms disappeared immediately after the ERPC, I had very little bleeding afterwards.

Firstly, I'm very sorry for your loss.

I don't want to disappoint you, but it may be helpful to know that OPKs can react positively to HCG in your wee. If you miscarried recently, you may still have HCG in your system. It can stay in your system for up to 6 weeks, depending on when the pregnancy ended.

However, if you do a pregnancy test and it comes up clear then it is probable that the OPK is detecting the LH surge (and not HCG) and you are indeed ovulating. I hope this this the case for you.

Its ceratinly possible to ovulate 2 weeks after a miscarriage or an erpc so you could well be in with a chance. After my most recent erpc my ovulated almost immediatly after i stopped getting positive pregnancy
tests and got my period 2 weeks after that.

If you are still getting +hpts though i wouldnt trust opks as the previous poster is correct the hcg will affect them.

Thanks ladies. Took a PG test this morning and there is a very very faint line so I've obviously still got some HCG in my system.

I won't get my hopes up too much this month but I'm pleased things seem to be getting back to normal quickly.

Hi I had an ERPC on 29 Dec 09. My first period came 30 days after that. This is how long my periods were before mc & D&C. I started using my ovulation machine after that first period but it said that I did not ovulate at all. Usually I ovulated on day 17/18. I am now on day 33 and still have not got my second period and was wondering if this was normal. I don't think I am pregnant but haven't tested. Another thing is that after ERPC my nipples leaked yellow discharge. They also leaked a bit more after my first period and I read some where that if you are lactating you won't ovulate. May be my body needs a couple of months to settle down as my hormones are oviously all over the place, has anyone had this experience? My breasts used to swell up and get really sore about 12 days before my period but this hasn't happened yet, feel a bit weird as don't know what my body is doing.
