Period is due today but nowhere to be seen. Have lots of symptoms including sore boobs and cramps but still no show. If this is positive it would be darker no?

I can't see anything I'm afraid and would read that as a negative.
if your period was due today I would assume you'd see a stronger line.

I can see the faint line, but would expect it to be stronger if your period was due today. Is there any chance you could have ovulated earlier this cycle?

@PBandJellySandwich dont think I ovulated earlier. I had ewcm on the 25th August
