how early can you take a pregnancy test, to see if its positive, we are due to go away for a few days, my period is due when we are away, my cycle is between 28 and 32 days.

I would plan to try a pregnancy test the day before the 28th day as then it would save me having to bring the tampons etc.

if i was pregnant would it show up this early

Clearblue digital and First Response can be tested 4 days before AF.

but not always that accurate

a box of tampax is hardly going to take much space up in your bag !

ok, bearing in mind that the early response tests can be less than 50 % accurate, i would give a teeny bit of space to some tampax instead! or put them in your handbag!!

lots of women dont get their bfps until 17dpo, companies like CB and FR push their "ultra-sensitive" hpts on us, but you have only a 53% (iirc) chance of getting an accurate result at 10dpo. you also take into accoun the fact that you could ov later one month etc. the longer you wait, the better the chance of getting an accurateresult (and the more money you will save)get some tampax compact and dont test yet!
