looking for some similar experiences as this has really surprised me.
I have been ttc for seven months, already have a just turned three year.
For months my cycle has been regular with one day of :) face followed by a solid :) and ovulation around day 12. I stopped breastfeeding over the last couple of weeks, although it had been a very gradual reduction over months, just one short evening feed by the end.
I didn’t expect it to have an effect on my cycle but today marks the 6th day of flashing :) now and I am already on day 16, I have never (to my knowledge) ovulated this late.
I am wondering if other people had a similar change, and when and if it stabilised. I have missed my ovulation window as I wasn’t expecting this and my partner is now away. He travels a lot and having some idea of when I ovulate is really useful.
It’s also just interesting that a five minute daily BF can have such an effect on my oestrogen levels.
