Hi everyone, setting up a new months thread for those of us who already know we’re out for August. I’m going on to cycle 3. Hope this can continue to be a place where we can chat and support one another.

Ok so the 1 day hcg went from 70nto 120. I will retest the hcg before the ens od the week. Since his side of family know i would then twll my aide. Just wanr to be sure.... first visit to nurse next week. Iwonder do they to the vag. US then? Im possibly 4 weeks in just by then. Does anyone know?

Currently 13DPO (estimated), and due AF in 2 days. Hubby is adamant I should wait to test once I’m late as last month I had a chemical pregnancy and he feels it’ll protect my heart. But I’m also dying to test tomorrow - if it’s negative then I know to expect AF and if it’s obviously positive then I have hope, it’s just the faint positive that might be more devastation. Any advice/suggestions of when to test?! Would I even expect an obvious positive at 14DPO (would be an early detect clear blue).

I want to test again but have been going to the loo so much this afternoon/evening it’s basically like water 🙈 will do another in the AM. I think I’m probably in for disappointment but we shall see

Im going into CD23 and I feel cramps coming and a dot of blood on wipe (only a dot) and little tinged. Feel AF is coming…

Took a test an BFN. Actually feel at peace with that, gave me some control over when AF does arrive not being taken by surprise. At least this means my next cycle will be a proper cycle and not after a chemical - might not even have ovulated tbh as last time I conceived I’m sure I felt a pain at ovulation whereas nothing this month. Wishing all those still waiting that they get their BFP, and if not I’ll see you in the October thread!

I’ve just done my FMU ao doubt I’ll test today. I’m the same I don’t even know what this cycle has been after chemical and not feeling hopeful. Yesterday I had a wave of feeling that it’s coming for me but this morning I just feel lost again.

@Iris2024 yeah I was the same kept flipping between feeling like it’s my month to being sure it wasn’t. I think if it had been a faint line it would have been difficult for me so I’m glad I got a clear answer one way or the other.

Do whatever feels right to you! How many days DPO are you now?

Hello! Just checking in on how everyone is getting on. Really gutted for you that AF showed up @overwork but you seem very relaxed/pragmatic so I’m sure it’s just a matter of time.

So sorry @SleepySkyRat and @Muddysocks1 as you said at least there is some closure this month and 🤞 for the next one!

Feeling a little frustrated 😅 it’s only cycle 2 of trying, so I know my frustration is nothing really, but just putting this out there for a tiny rant before I get back to my day 😂😅

cycle 1 of trying - DH had to go away for work for a few days over ovulation time. We dtd before he went, but the chances were slim as it was still a few days before OD. That’s frustrating but okay, we’ll move on to the next month…

cycle 2 of trying and we dtd a few days before OD with the intent to dtd every day over the following few days. We both lend up catching terrible colds and we have to abandon the baby making plans 😂 we are feeling better now and dtd again but we probably missed OD by 24hrs or more (not tracking ovulation necessarily, only going by cervical mucus and general cycle days).

it is frustrating but I am still in the early days of ttc so I am trying to see the funny side to it 😅 currently on CD14 so only at the start of the tww.

I’ve got two theories on my tests, either:

• it was an evap, and I’m only 9dpo today so still chance for a bfp
• it was another implantation failure/vvv early chemical, because I also had the raised LH that morning, and progesterone tests show that’s been too low

if no Bfp in next couple of days think I’ll contact the clinic as maybe need to change letrozole dose, maybe need progesterone? I’m not being monitored which is annoying and next appt isn’t for over a month and I can’t wait that long if the plan isn’t right!

@Muddysocks1 fingers crossed that it was an evap and your BFP is just around the corner. You’re still early so definitely not out yet!

I’m so grumpy and distracted though now today! Partly because I wasted an expensive clear blue digital 🤣 next cycle I’ll just make sure I’ve got cheap easy at home, clearly waiting to test isn’t for me (and tbf it it’s another early chemical that’s valuable information)

I’m so confused if i’m ovulating early? I had no ewcm last two cycles but i’ve got it now at CD 10? Does anyone who tracks find that ewcm lines up w when you actually ovulated? Im not tracking as I have never actually caught a peak so have no clue. My cycles are typically pretty long so I don’t expect to ovulate until minimum cd 17

It doesn’t sound like you’re frustrated that you’re not pregnant yet, just that you and DH have not managed to dtd as much or around time of ovulation! Maybe to make yourself feel a bit better, if you don’t get a bfp this month then you can class your next cycle as the first actual cycle of ttc

Thats what I did when we had to abandon ttc properly for a few months cause of various reasons! I’m counting this cycle as cycle 1

I have PCOS my cycles can be 25 days or 43 days it’s totally random. I don’t really always find that ovulation gives me ewcm. I’ll have it randomly a few times each cycle

I am the worst at testing early and then getting my hopes up at evap lines or possible chemical pregnancy. I find that them easy at homes do sometimes give evap lines that look similar to what you have got.

It is early days I’m hoping you get your bfp in a few days! x

Hello folks! I think I’m 1dpo, had an mc last month so not sure what the 1st day of my cycle would be so I went for the day the bleeding really ramped up - it was 2 weeks of spotting and then 6 days of heavy bleeding. On that basis, opk showed peak positive on CD 18, which is only 1 day later than normal, and temp dip CD17 & 18 seems to have confirmed ov. We dtd 7 times over fertile period so safe to say we did our best 😀 now to wait and see if it worked

@Iris2024 I will of course 😊 hmmm, I'd say your hormones are still settling and the LH tests are picking up on that. Are you just gonna wait for AF or are you gonna test by a certain point?

Sorry @SleepySkyRat & @Muddysocks1 that evap was cruel! Was there any pink colour to the line in real life?

I normally get mine 5 days before. It’s a good sign of when to start trying for me.

Thanks @CityKity- yes I’m fine about it. Feeling very silly for testing early. And sad not to be joining you on the next ‘due dates’ chat!
My partner is working lots of odd hours over the time period I expect to next ovulate so we might be waking each other up in the middle of the night to try and hit the right time! It has made us both realise that we do want this (rather than our previous attitude that what will be will be), so I think we’ll give it a really good shot till the end of the year, when it might be a good idea to call it quits (based on my age and next birthday).

Yes mine did look pink in real life. Will have to see what happens over next few days - I’m so used to BFNs though I would be shocked if it was anything else!

@overwork I’m glad that moving on to cycle 2 has solidified that this is a really wanted baby! It’s nice to have that validation. Good luck with timing DTD this month! I haven’t moved on to any of the due date threads yet…doesn’t quite seem real yet tbh so still lurking here.

@underthethree I don’t want to give you false hope but your cycle 2 story sounds familiar. DTD twice on CD10/11 then was sick over ovulation and the rest of the week. Took all the painkillers, antibiotics for a week. Anyway, AF was a day late, took a test and boom BFP. Fingers crossed for you!

@SleepySkyRat Im not 100% sure as I didn’t catch peak as think I missed it but could be 11DPO? I’ve just done a LH test as I’ve been testing all month since chemical and it’s nearly same colour as control line and my AF is due 😕

@SureLook I really don’t know what to do and where my head is at 😩 Feel all over the place. I’ve just done another LH test as AF is due (attached) and still dark 🙈

@amey44 Usually I would say when get CM then it’s time to start DTD 😂🥰

Some good news today after a crappy few weeks though. My partners semen test come back and he has super sperm at 42!!! 😂😂😂 All his results were way over avarage and the same if not better than a youngster so that’s something 😂😂😂😂😂 We’ve had a right laugh about it. I’ve got tingling fluttering in my side like I did with last pregnancy last month but really don’t want to get my hopes up. I know I should just do a test. A digital was negative after the chemical but I thought I could see a shadow on easy at home but my partner couldn’t so think all HCG has left.
