Hi! I’ve been lurking a bit but just entering TWW so thought I’d pop up to say hello.

congrats to those with bfps already. Keeping everything crossed for you all.

im feeling positive about our timing this month, but worried it’s going to mean I’m devastated if it’s not our month.

ive been trying to get to grips with bbt and opks and THINK I ovulated cd 12/13 (lh 0.95 late cd11 then dropped by evening of cd12 and bbt shot up cd14). I think I’m interpreting that right?!?!

we dtd cd 8,9,11,12,13 so if I’m right I’m hoping we’re well covered.

going ti try and hold off until cd28 to test, but don’t rate my chances 😂

I hsd a mmc at 12 weeks earlier this year and a bit of a rollercoaster with an indent on a frer last month so want to wait and test only once the result should be really clear

@Digby86and @CityKity you are so right about holding off to test. I haven’t any other month, and if this doesn’t month work out I will go back to not testing until I’m late. I want a nice fast blazing positive to get really excited about, not a little squinter

Haha - yes! Last month really messed with my head not knowing for sure either way and I don’t want to go through that again. We’re off on an all inclusive hol cd29 though so I defo want to know what’s going on befire then 😂

Can someone have a look and help me work out my dates though? Took CD1 as first day of bleeding from my last loss. I didn’t track LH or BTT apart from the 9th and 10th (FF had my predicted OV to be on the 11th or 12) and they were negative.

First positive would be 8dpo which doesn’t seem likely, so I moved it to the first day we dtd. But it still puts it at 7 days before my next period was due, and I’ve had 29-31 day cycles for a few months. Do you think I just OV early and my period would have come early? Or is 7 days before totally within the normal range?

Could be an early ovulation - maybe you ovulated on 7/8/9th? You could have had your surge on the 7/8 and then ovulated 24-48 hours later so the LH tests would be negative and the egg would be there at the time you DTD on the 8/9th.

Maybe, if you have a regular 14 day luteal phase. Mine are short and inconsistent (anywhere from 8 - 12 days) so I'm probably not best placed to answer!

Gosh this whole thing is a rollercoaster, woke up this morning and whoosh - my period has well and truely arrived and with absolutely no warning! So something odd happened with those tests. Either way, lesson learned, I will not be testing before my period is due ever again, it’s not worth the confusion.

I’m so sorry @overwork Keep positive for next cycle and a July baby would it be? I’m sure I’ll be there with you as can’t see me catching off a miscarriage bleed and my LH tests have been dark all cycle.

@SureLook How are you doing with little babaa growing my love? Thank you for checking in. Since the miscarriage bleed all my LH tests have been dark so I’m confused. I’m roughly 8DPO today and feel under the weather with a cold.

@EmPeEf Id say CD13-14 is when you conceived. After my loss my LH tests have all been dark? Have you had that before?

And omg i hopenit will remain. Decided to tell husband very secretly and OF COURSE he told the same day to his um brothes and basically all the familia knows now. Ouuuwh! Im just like 2-3 weeks in!!! I have PCOS and lost twins at 10 weeks before conceiving my son. Hoping for a smoother journey this time…

@ttcbubbanumber2 this will be cycle 2, looks like I experienced a chemical last cycle which was a rollercoaster, but hopeful for this cycle x

Staying hopeful for you too! Sorry to hear about your chemical last month. I always tell myself I should hold off until I’m a week late for my period to save the heartbreak but I still continue to want to test from 7dpo!

@ttcbubbanumber2 haha yes I will absolutely be holding off on testing until after a missed period this cycle, I don’t wish to put myself through that again! X

I have PCOS so sometimes my periods come 3.5 weeks after I last started bleeding and sometimes my periods come 7 weeks after so it’s so rough knowing when to actually test!

sorry if someone else has already answered but as I understand it opks can show as positive when you’re pregnant, and it can take a while post mc for all your pregnancy hormones to go back to normal levels. So it might just be the opks picking that up. After my mc I was told pregnancy tests could still show as positive 2 weeks after the procedure
