Hi everyone, setting up a new months thread for those of us who already know we’re out for August. I’m going on to cycle 3. Hope this can continue to be a place where we can chat and support one another.

I agree with @blackberryhill - the Wondfo tests are the best cheap ones I've found. I got the pack with ovulation and pregnancy tests and both work well

@Angelyoga I was prescribed cyclogest 400mg twice a day during my missed miscarriage (I lost one twin so EPU prescribed it whilst I was waiting for another scan 2 weeks later). Just a word of warning that I felt absolutely awful whilst taking it, 100x worse than during early pregnancy with my daughter. I was told that it increased the chance of a healthy pregnancy by 11%, but sadly it didn't work in my case

@mrsce I always find clear blue tests tricky to read but I can see some colour to the line. Are you going to test again tomorrow? Hopefully the line will be clearer then 🤞

I feel like I'm chiming in on everything 😅 (TBF I've had 33 cycles TTC across two attempts so have had quite a lot of experience) but yes, I had a HyCoSy when TTC#1 and a repeat one in December last year to check my tubes before starting ovulation induction. I didn't find it too bad, the only bit that was uncomfortable was when they flushed the dye through I had about 20-30 seconds of intense cramping but it passed quite quickly. I was told to take painkillers an hour or so beforehand which I think is a good idea.

They say that HyCoSy can provide a temporary fertility boost for the first three cycles or so after and (not to get your hopes up) this was true for me - we conceived #1 the cycle after I had my first one done.

@PBandJellySandwich yea for sure testing tomorrow! I think the fact my
period is due weds and the line being so faint is making me think it’s not real. I could be totally wrong 🤞🏼

Unsure if I have line eyes but I thought I saw a line on this test when it was wet but now it’s dried I can’t see anything?

I hope so too! It’s so unusual for me, I am 7months postpartum so I guess maybe things haven’t fully settled down but I’ve had 5 periods and cycles that have all been 27-28 days, I just keep thinking surely I’ll have some spotting soon but nothing
have ordered some of those Wondfos so I imagine my period will show up the same day those do because that’s how it works isn’t it !

At least they’ll be there for whenever my next cycle is

This is the test dry I can kinda maybe see a smidge of something in the pics but irl I can’t see anything 😩has anyone used these boots tests before do they tend to have a shadow?

It looks like the prescription is identical, and the side effects similar to the ones I was advised to look out for.
I am feeling mentally low atm so will probably postpone it for a few weeks.

@givingitanothergoI had one cycle which was like 32 days, I'm a regular 26/28 was very strange, then after that they went back to normal 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think I can see something on the second picture, but it looks a little closer to the control line than usual. Have you got another one to do in the morning?

9dpo & sore nipples, BFN so that’s me 90% out this month, will do another test in a couple of days just in case

Hi ladies, sorry to jump on this thread, does this seem like a true positive to you? Period is due today, getting some cramps like I’m going to come on, had 2 previous mc so feeling very anxious! I’ve used these strips before and don’t find them very reliable, thanks x

Hi all, I need some help with interpretation here. Did a test yesterday morning, nothing came up within the time frame, hopped on a couple of conference calls, went back to the bathroom and found the test like this. Is it an evap line? I’ve actually left a couple of other tests out on the bathroom shelf from previous days and none of them have done this. Any help gratefully received! I would have been 11DPO.

I tested again this morning and nothing but I was very hydrated so it might have been too diluted? I’m not sure.

@memorablemickerThese tests are notorious for evap lines, I’d only suggest it’s a no as the line is thin and a little diluted, esp if it was over the time frame by a while…. Test tomorrow morning or you do have any FRER?

Thanks @FunnySam - I didn’t realise they were notorious for it. I can test again but don’t have any FRER - are they an Amazon purchase?

@memorablemicker I wouldn't be questioning this one if it hadn't been left sitting and if you hadn't said that your others hadn't done the same. I think any pink dye test would show if it's a true positive (based on that line), doesn't have to be a FRER (which as far as I'm aware you can now only get on Amazon in the UK).

Hi darl, sorry about the bfn. If I'm not wrong, implantation can happen after 9dpo as well. The test wont be positive if implantation is yet to happen. Don't give up yet! I just got up from the longest flu of my life. 9 dpo today. But the bbt and symptoms are all over the place because of the flu. Haven’t tested yet, SO frustrated.

@memorablemicker Yes on Amazon! If you’re waiting until tomorrow morning I’d just use any test as levels should be higher then
