Trying for baby 3

Hi ladies. Im currently ttc baby 3. I had a miscarriage at 8.5 weeks in May and since then finding it a really struggle physically and mentally. Im once again in my tww. 7dpo today so definitely to early to test. If I conceive this month the due date will be my birthday which id love to see as a sign lol as you can see I'll grab any hope I can. Anyone else in their tww?

Sorry to hear about your mc.

I think I’m around 9dpo. I say think, I stopped breastfeeding a week ago and yet to have my periods return. I did have ewcm and tested ‘high’ on a cheapie ovulation strip I had had home, never never reached peak so not 100% sure if I did.

I feel like I’m in the ttw, but not fully - if that makes sense? We are trying, but also don’t know if I did ovulate. I’m holding onto the smallest bit of hope and over analysing everything 🫣.

When do you plan to test?

Hi! Ah ok yes I know what you mean. Im sure if you tested positive on a opk then your definitely still in. I got told after my mc that I could still get before my next period.
Im going to test tomorrow morning. Stupidly did a cheapie this afternoon and obviously bfn as its to early. But I got my first faint positives with my other including the mc at 8dpo. I have been extremely irritable and moody the last 2 days and have no energy but I've not long finished my stint of night shifts so it could just be that. How old your little one? You thinking of testing soon? Xx

Sorry to hear about your MC 🙁 I had one at the beginning of July at 7 weeks so completely understand what you mean mentally. I’m also 7dpo, guessing AF is due around Thursday but not sure my cycles regulated yet after our loss so who really knows 🙈 X

Sorry to hear that. Its so hard. We were going abroad the next day and I didn't know how to cope with the baby (as chose to pass naturally with going away but surgery if not when came home) and my girls. In a way it was fortunate that baby passed through the same evening, although is a image ill never get out of my head.
I feel this is my first cycle where I feel things are back on track slightly. My skin been a mess since mc. My periods been early or late and last month I ovulated a lot later then usual but this month seems to be ok so far! We shall see. Had on/off cramps all weekend and boobs now slightly tender but that means nothing lol as have this most months. X

Yeah it really sucks, our mc is was in the middle of the night so our little boy had no idea luckily. Things have just felt so heavy since and even though i can kind of push it to the back on my mind it never goes completely goes.
This cycle I ovulated late too, had backache, headache and cramps all weekend, get those before af too so holding out much hope X

@tillybud89 i tested this morning and it was negative. I didn’t expect to see anything else I guess but curiosity got the better of me. I’m going to test the next few days too and then see what’s happening with AF as I assume she’ll arrive on Saturday.

He’s 16 months xx

Ah im so sorry. There isn't a day that goes by that I dont think about it. But carrying on ttc is now even harder emotionally. My best friend also got pregnant at the same time so thats been really difficult. I hope your cycle regulates soon that way at least you will feel you have some control back. Xxx

Ah still a baby ❤️ My 2 are nearly 6 and 8 yet both of them had me up in the night for different reasons 🙈 so I ended up doing a test at 4.30am. Seems BFN 😓 x

i wish there was a way of us knowing after ovulating if it’s happened or not. I know obviously scientifically it doesn’t work like that but the ttw can be so difficult can’t it. I know they say you’re never out until AF arrives but sometimes you just know in your gut don’t you.

ahh no :( @tillybud89 it’s still early days though so fingers crossed. I know you said you’ve had positives this time previously, so that must be hard. X

Best I could get. Tested this morning and bfn. On a whim decided o do another 30min ago and ....... its def pink! Will obviously do another tomorrow morning but do we think bfp?

Trying not to drink anything until 9pm abd do another haha. Not long poured a glass of prosecco as well as was convinced I was out 🙈

I’m going to test in the morning and I honestly want to go to bed already so that it can be the morning 🫣 not to wish time away or anything like that but the waiting is so hard isn’t it!

Hi, hope you don’t mind me jumping on. I’m 7dpo after IUI (so the ovulation is a guess, could be a day out as I was given a trigger shot 8 days ago and you ovulate 24-36 hours after that. 7 days post IUI anyway. I have two 5 year olds and praying this was a success, I feel so positive but the wait is a killer. We’ve been told we can’t test before 10th September but my period is due next Wednesday so the wait after that will be even worse as I’ll be waiting for it to come hoping it actually won’t!

The tww certainly is basically a mind fuck! I started this cycle so positive then dipped and now in shock and scared about what my test showed tonight! 10th September thats a long wait!!! I'll be honest i think I would be testing just before p due if you do struggle to wait until 10th. Lots of luck for you this cycle xxxx

Just seen your update! Congrats! Can’t believe your test has shown so early that’s incredible and has given me more hope! I think they tell you to wait that long due to the trigger shot being HCG, can’t test any earlier than 2 weeks, but they advice 3 weeks 🥺 it’s gonna be so hard not to test if my period doesn’t show by next Wednesday.

Currently NTNP and have a 4 and 6 year old. Don’t really track my cycles apart from noting when AF arrives each month in my phone calendar. Anyway this month my usually very predictable (give or take a few days here and there) AF has not arrived and I had some absolutely unhinged line eyes on 3 tests this morning. I will attach so you can see for yourselves and please feel free to tell me I’m a nutter.

I have obviously ovulated late but no idea what DPO I am now and it’s completely thrown me off! I’ve taken 5 tests so far this morning - 3 x FMU possible vvvvvvvvvvvfl like unhinged, 1 x tap water and 2 x SMU (stark BFN) 😂

I promised myself I wouldn’t do this yet here we are.

Anyone testing soon?

Hi. Haha its so hard not to. I have no willpower at all
So I did a FRER at 4am as couldn't sleep. Not much showing was something but not wow look at that line lol was upset. Then did a clear blue early at 7am and line appeared although very faint when I compared it to the mc postive it may I was same days po and was same faintness so that gives me hope. Ill attach pic. Got more clear blues and more cheapie to keep me going as need lines to darken!!!

Oooh yes I can see a line on that. I don’t know what’s worse, waiting it out for AF or testing and still being none the wiser with silly faint lines! How many DPO are you? Sorry if you’ve already said. Also sorry to hear about your MC 💐 sending you lots of sticky baby dust!!

I’ve just chucked this morning’s tests in the bin (the outside bin so I can’t get them out again LOL). I literally tracked the Amazon delivery driver to my front door this morning with my cheapies. And I’ve also now ordered some FRERs on Amazon which should be coming tonight between 6pm-10pm 🤦‍♀️

Ahahaha im the same!!! Anything i can add to basket to get a same day delivery on tests lol! Ill still be dipping cheapies all day and save the expensive ones for FMU lol. Once I see line progression I'll settle slightly. Will still be a very different pregnancy. I was 8.5 weeks when I had my mc. It was amazing to see how formed baby already was at that point but also very heartbreaking 💔 got 2 girls and although had some fertility problems I've never had a mc before.

I literally added a £20 Lancôme lip gloss to my basket just to get the damn FRERs tonight 🤦‍♀️ I really wanted the lip gloss though so it was a good excuse to treat myself haha. Going to hold all day and use one tonight and then in the morning, if the FRERs are BFN then I’m quitting and waiting it out!

That must have been awful to go through at 8.5 weeks, must make the whole TTC process so much worse 💔 I’ve had 3 losses but they were more like chemicals, hence why I’m a bit on edge about super faint lines!

Still a very good excuse for a lip gloss 😂. Ah I've had 2 chemicals its horrible. Another reason I want these lines to darken! Did another clear blue early (as I may have ordered some more anyway 🙈) still faint but line thicker!

Ah my girls are 5 and 7 (nearly 6 and 8) 22 months between them so this will be quite the gap!!

I know quite a few people who are going for a 3rd with age gaps like that so it must work 🤣 plus they can help you with stuff!

My Amazon Prime FRER arrived, took one with a ~3 hour hold (barely drank today) and it’s the starkest whitest BFN I think I’ve ever seen in my whole life 🙂 I’m chalking it down to ovulating late this month but not catching and Mother Nature is now messing with me. Will be relieved when AF shows up so I can just move on!
