Pregnancy test how many days after ovulation?

Hi all

Currently trying to conceive baby no 2. We had 4 miscarriages before our precious babygirl was born. She's 1 year and 8 months. I am still breastfeeding and got my period back since March of this year.

I took ovulation tests and it appeared positive on 10th of August. It was 4-5 days after the estimation of the tracking app. I took several pregnancy tests in the last days and they were all BFN. Is there any point in retesting or I should just make peace with it and wait for my period? Each test feels like another disappointment. There are some people saying they tested positive later, but I am guessing they didn't know their exact ovulation date. Could you please share your experience?

If you ovulated on the 10th or 11th August, a decent pregnancy test would likely be showing positive by now.

Thank you. This is what I thought too... I guess I'm getting a bit irrational, as my anxiety defies logic.

Don’t be so hard on yourself. This journey can be much harder for some of us. Getting pregnant is the first hurdle. Staying pregnant is another!

I got my positives on the 9th day after ovulation with all 3 pregnancies. Albeit faint but 100% positive x

Just retested with an early detection Pregnancy test and there's very very very faint line. Since today should 14 DPO, I'm guessing there should be a much more visible line. So it's either evaporation or maybe a chemical.

If you are truly 14dpo then a VVFL on an early detection test isn’t ideal but ovulation can happen 24-48 hours after a positive OPK so maybe re-test in 48 hours with the same brand of test to compare.

Got my period. So we'll be trying again next month. Just posted this update in case someone searches in the future.
