mid stream testing

I did my first test of this cycle yesterday and the test line was fainter than the control line. This morning it was fainter still . Does this mean I've missed the surge or is it worth testing a bit longer.

I take it you'e testing for your LH surge with an OPK, are you not?

You need to test between 11am-3pm, closer to 3pm for an accurate result. Try to hold your urine for 4 hours and drink little beforehand to produce as dark yellow wee as possible

In addition, I'm sure that all of the OPK's I've used require the test to be dipped in a cup of urine.
That doesn't mean there aren't mid-stream tests available of course.
