We're on cycle #2, CD 19.

TTC my second (I have an almost adult DC) and my partner's first (getting married later this year, I can't wait!)

We are trying for our last DC at the moment. I was 40 a few months ago. How are you feeling about it all? I’m CD 20 so we should be testing at the same time!

Im 40 and also trying to have one more child, though we have to do it through ivf which unfortunately isnt working out in our favour. Going for our last embryo transfer in september after a failed transfer last cycle.

Hi @Miraclemuma03 so sorry to hear it hasn’t work so far. Have you tried acupuncture at all? I know a lot of women have the treatment before and during IVF.

I'm excited, this is the first time I'm actually TTC ironically so no idea what to expect, but with my age and having an irregular cycle I'm not expecting it to happen for a while

Oh wow. How do your cycles vary? Do you have PCOS or are you not sure why you have irregular cycles?

Almost 40 here
Have one child conceived through ivf , had him at 38 and just did another egg retrieval yesterday.
@rainbowsnack it's so fustrating with irregular cycles isn't it? I've never had regular cycles (pcos) we did the dye test of the tubes , I had to take a provera tablet to induce a bleed for it since my cycles were non existent. The following month we had a perfect natural regular cycle for the first time and I ovulated . We got pregnant from that but found out on my 37th birthday I'd miscarried.
We have never been able to get pregnant again so ivf is our route of hopefully having another baby

Aboslutely no idea tbh lol. They've always been this way although they've become more regular since I met my DF.

@rainbowsnack maybe go to your GO and tell them you’ve been trying for a year with no luck. They will then do some bloods for you to see if there’s a problem or not x

I hope you don’t mind me popping in to say don’t give up ladies. I was very very lucky to have my baby (who’s one next week) at 44 after 3.5 years of up and downs. We got there in the end. It will happen for you. Sending you all lots of positive vibes/energy/thoughts your way x

Just found this thread and wanted to say hi! I’m 40 and TTC baby #3 (I have 2 children from my previous marriage). I’m currently in the TWW and trying my best not to overthink everything 🙈. We had a miscarriage back in February, and July was only my second month of having a regular cycle again, so I’m just taking it step by step and hoping for the best.

@Miraclemuma03 that’s a shame! Do you have any specific fertility issues?

@BabyBorn i dont have fallopian tubes, but also in perimenopaus and i have a low ovarian reserve, I also dont have great quality eggs and hubby has a low sperm count.

CD 25 - negative pregnancy test. Lots of lower cramping and my boobs are swollen and the left one feels like it did when I was first breastfeeding my DC (tiny needles) due on next tuesday I think. Don't usually get symptoms this early but it could be PMS, however this cramping has been going on for about 3 days now... Had one instance of very light spotting earlier this week (happened last month as well, don't normally get spotting before my period) so I don't know what to think XD

I had a positive test on Monday when I was 9DPO. Can’t believe it! Hope this one sticks!!

I'm hoping so, I may just be noticing PMS symptoms a bit more than usual I guess? Fingers crossed it's not PMS though XD
