MrsOverthinker25 · 14/08/2025 15:40

Anyone want to join me on the TWW? Currently 6dpo and it’s feeling like forever!

I have had the occasional shooting pain in my boobs, they feel bigger and had cramps/twinges on and off for the last 2 days.

My temp took a huge dive below the cover line yesterday but it’s back up to just above cover line today!

Come and join in x

@MrsOverthinker25 i think letrozole is fairly safe so maybe go for it!! I'm thinking the same tbh if it helps boost.

Have brown spotting start today got not pregnant on a digital, with tests fading now so think it's a chemical for me. Oh well...fingers crossed for next month :(

Yes I will have to ask for it, they will probs have to do more blood tests first before they can give it to me, they are ridiculous! I wish I could just buy it without a prescription!

Omg no 😔 I’m sorry. I really hope it’s just implantation bleeding and your tests pick back up again, that is so frustrating 😣xx

Do you have to have blood tests? My fertility clinic we’re going to just allow it before my miscarriage (although now they’ve said no as we’ve had a successsful pregnancy) but is that on NHS? I think private just give it or am I being ignorant

Im starting to doubt I was even pregnant but was defo getting coloured lines yesterday. My pee has been super diluted testing today and I haven’t being holding but would hope it wouldn’t make a difference at 12/11DPO

I think they would run tests again maybe as it’s been over a year since I last went? I could be wrong. How long does it take to go private, and is it really expensive? As I imagine going private, they will know far more than a GP! So I will deffo look into that, thank you :)

aww bless you 😓 im sorry you’re in limbo, I really thought the same too, I tried convincing myself it wasn’t a chemical but the minute my period arrived and it was different/heavy etc I just knew it wasn’t dodgy tests giving me faint positives. It’s so cruel 😣xxx

@MrsOverthinker25 for Letrozole privately it’s really easy. Just go to your nearest clinic and explain, get tests, then I think it’s £70 for a pack. I’m going to go back and ask…if your cycles are that long you’ll easily qualify for them!

AF came last night and full swing today, so it came a day early. With my temps and tests im certain it’s a chemical! I’m giving it till summer then will probably take the leap with IVF….just to have more control over the situation

ThatNimbleOP · 16/04/2026 15:23

@MrsOverthinker25 how're you getting on? :) Did you find out about Letrozole. I'm going to start it next cycle if unsuccessful.

I'm 3DPO, back in it haha

MrsOverthinker25 · 23/04/2026 13:38

Hey hun! I’m so sorry I feel terrible I thought I had replied to your last message until I seen the notification! How awful of me!!

I am still gonna stick to my deadline of July if I haven’t caught come then, which isn’t much longer. Still waiting to ovulate, tests are starting to get darker but could literally drop back down in a day or so (which it has been) so annoying! I have recently started taking Angus Cactus and only taking this and omega 3 fish oil. I have stopped every other supplement. I heard good things about Angus Cactus so I am going with it as what else do I have to lose?

how are you doing anyway? @ThatNimbleOP .. you’re 10DPO now aren’t you? Keeping everything crossed for you! Xx

@MrsOverthinker25 oh not to worry! Oh bless you, still no ovulation? That must be so stressful on top of everything else. Sending love <3 Omega 3 i've been taking for a few months, that's good. Do you do pre-natal?

I'm okay! Period started as expected at weekend. Since my miscarrage i now have brown spotting 1-2 days before my period, i never had this before so angry. I've also started letrozole so will let you know how it goes for me!

Still no ovulation, today my tests are the weakest they’ve been for weeks! :( thank you!

Yes now I think about it, probably good to continue with the omega 3! I was taking inofolic alpha so it covers everything you need to take apparently! But now I’ve stopped that and was just taking angus castus but if my tests are going lighter.. maybe I should stop that?! I’ve decided I’m going to make an appointment this week as I’ve hit breaking point now. It’s getting me down so much :(

oh really, I always tend to have spotting 2 days before my period, only since coming off the pill years ago though, apparently it is very normal?! I hope letrozole works for you! 🥰 yes keep me updated. Have you used it before? I assume it just regulates ovulation or is there more to it? Xx

Hey @ThatNimbleOP how are you? I have finally had my peak OPK today, and what a peak it is!! 3 months later 🤣 I have never had such a high reading before!

Hope you’re all good 🤍xx

Hello @MrsOverthinker25!

Im so sorry just seen you sent a previous message, I totally missed that. Wow how exciting!! That is an amazing peak but you had to wait 3 months…you must have a patience of a saint. Fingers crossed for this one then 😃 How are you feeling in general?

Still not had any luck here. Did Letrozole and ovulation induction last month (ovulated CD12 lol) and didn’t fall pregnant. Doing an unmonitored Letrozole cycle this month. I don’t have PCOS but can sometimes ovulate CD19/20 so hoping it make it a little more consistent.

We’ve got a protocol for IVF and will start in August if no luck as I can’t go on much longer!

Awww that’s okay no worries! Yes I do, you’re right 🤣 it was slightly up and down the last few weeks which was frustrating but thank god it’s happening now! All good though thank you ☺️ everyone around me are having babies so feel deflated at times but it will happen for me one day, and you of course :)

Awww bless you! Sorry to hear that, but amazing that you have a plan in place and you’re good to go come August if you don’t catch before! Amazing. Keeping everything crossed for you! Xx

ThatNimbleOP · 30/05/2026 13:25

@MrsOverthinker25 did you look into the Letrozole? It could really help with regulating for you! Although I think 6 months is the max you can do it.

I know the feeling re: babies. My friend told me she’s pregnant and conceived first month (which was same as us with our first but it still bloody hurts!!) I forgot it can be that easy, seems like a unicorn ideal.

Well I say that with IVF but I keep putting it off. Also I should have said September, we’re going to enjoy our summer before the shit potentially gets real.

Keep me in the loop and good luck for this month. Xxx

MrsOverthinker25 · 30/05/2026 17:06

When I called my doctors they told me to come in for bloods, they also said they wouldn’t be able to prescribe letrozole and that it would need to be given by a fertility clinic? They said my partners sperm will probs need testing too! I said the issue is with me, I know I can get pregnant I just need to regulate my ovulation! It was like banging my head against a brick wall!!
also, I was spending a fortune on Inositol but this time I tried MyOva and it turns out you’re supposed to take 4 tablets, the others I was using, you only needed 2 and the dose was low so probs wouldn’t have worked great anyway! But I haven’t even finished the bottle and I’ve ovulated so I’ll buy them again :)

Awww I know :( it’s so annoying hearing people get lucky 1st time! Which happened to me to be fair but that was before even began properly trying.. off ONE bit of sex yet you BD 15 times and nothing? 🤣 makes no sense!

Well I am excited for you! I really hope everything goes to plan, it will happen for you, I know it will.

thank you :) will do! Likewise xx

Yes Letrozole would be from the fertility clinic, just avoid the GP at all costs! They’re useless…I would speak to a clinic and also get partners sperm tested, if anything it’ll be peace of mind or something you need to take action on. Either way I’m here to support in whatever way you need! I love this thread…I always forget about it then remember in times of need, it’s lovely.

Thank you so much. CD9 and waiting to ovulate, think she’s brewing! I had an 18mm follicle on CD11 last month so really hoping it’s similar this month and I’ll ovulate CD13/14 on the Letrozole 😃

Keep me in the loop and good luck!! May the best egg win haha.

ThatNimbleOP · 05/06/2026 11:20

@MrsOverthinker25, i had a fertility scan on Tues and they told me i had 3 potential mature follicles (21mm, 15mm and 14mm). They recommended cancelling the cycle but we've tried anyway, willing to take the risk of multiples (also not like we're super fertile). Just wanted to update seeing as i only had one mature egg last month!! You should totally try letrozole, really hoping it's upped our chances this month...

How are you getting on?

MrsOverthinker25 · 09/06/2026 12:55

Hey @ThatNimbleOP that’s really sweet, thank you very much! Likewise. Always here for you!

definitely will avoid GP surgery then as they are certainly useless.

oh my, that is such fab news! Really happy for you 🤍 it’s amazing what a bit of medication can do!! Really rooting for you this month, please keep me posted! How exciting!

all good my end thank you! I am 9dpo, this is probs the first month since TTC that I haven’t had sore nips in my TWW! Odd cramp here and there and shooting pain in my boob but nothing! Took two tests this morning (LOL 😅 knobhead I know) and there is the faintest of shadows on there that came up straight away. But it is veryyy very faint. I refuse to show my partner because he will say “where” and humble me 🤣🤣 it’s probs nothing but it did catch my eye xx

@MrsOverthinker25 i see it!! 9DPO still early, hopefully it’ll be clearer tomorrow? No, feel free to post here. I started testing 1DPO this month so I’ve definitely lost the plot, it’s official. Although now I’ve said I’m waiting till 10DPO with a FRER as the analysing is unbearable!!

Im 5DPO so we’re not too far off each other!! Keep me in the loop and yeah, if this doesn’t work, seriously think about Letrozole…seems good 😊

Best of luck and please update me tomorrow!! Xx

MrsOverthinker25 · 09/06/2026 13:29

@ThatNimbleOP thank god it’s not just me 🤣🤣 I know the pre mom ones do naturally have an indent but this is visible when looking at it, where as with the indents I find you can only see it from certain angles? 🤔 but both tests looked like that, not going to get my hopes up 🤣

Oh yay, no we aren’t far off each other at all! God it’s such a god send coming on here and chatting with you! You crack me up, 1dpo 🤣 I love it!

Yes will deffo keep you posted! Let’s hope this month is our month! Xx

OP posts:
ThatNimbleOP · 09/06/2026 17:41

@MrsOverthinker25!! I know, it’s nice to have a sense of humour with it all 🤣🤣

My 1DPO theory was to see how indents looked on my one step cheapies, I figured if I could see a line then then it’s the tests not a baby haha! So hopefully it’ll help this month with the line eyes…

Oh I thought they were easy@home! Yeah those ones do dry a bit grey. I think if there’s any colour in it you’ve got a good chance? Have you tested again?

ThatNimbleOP · 09/06/2026 17:42

I also bought the gold standard FRERs off of Amazon…so I’m leaving that till sat/sunday. That’s how sad my life is, I’m really excited at trying a new test. What have we become!!

MrsOverthinker25 · 09/06/2026 21:24

@ThatNimbleOP that’s a very good idea 🤣 it’s awful that we have second guess if it’s the tests, so cruel when they give misleading results!

haha yes they are easy at home! Ignore me 🤣 it’s because I got them through premom as they offer discount when you go through them on Amazon etc! I did test again about an hour ago, still a shadow the same as earlier 🤔 I’m tempted to dip one in water tbh! It’s weird, I can’t see colour, it’s just a shadow looking line, but not like an indent?! Tbh I’m surprise my camera even picked up the line but it was more noticeable in person (tiny bit)

Hahaha! Not sad at allll! Gold standard ones sounds lovely 🤭 I hope this week flies by for you! Xx

OP posts:
ThatNimbleOP · 10/06/2026 08:17

@MrsOverthinker25 gave you tested this morning?

I have and BFN obviously as 6DPO but I’m entering the “possibility” zone now of peak craziness!!!

Keep me in the loop xx

MrsOverthinker25 · 10/06/2026 11:06

@ThatNimbleOP exciting!! You’re almost there 🥰

I did. Same shadow again? Today I’m 10dpo, so annoying! You can literally see it on the test it’s so confusing but it literally is a shadow! I would say they are indents possibly, even though it came up straight away 🤷‍♀️ it’s not exactly got colour to it has it !! Xx
