took a test earlier today. Haven’t missed my period yet and wasn’t my first wee of the day but I SWEAR I can see a very faint line.
I’ve also defo got symptoms but doubt myself so much.
wanting some opinions incase I’ve got line eyes!
thanks in advance angels 💜

Please please help.

If the line is meant to be where you drew the purple lines, then I can see a tiny bit of colour at each end of the 'line' of which I believe you speak. But I'm not expert. Just do another one in a few days.

@MrsMe3 how many DPO are you? I had a vvvfl at 9/10dpo that was more visible in person. Like PP I can see where you've drew the line but it's quite a squinter! You're best to wait 2 says and retest again. Good luck!

Right now the test is negative. Having pregnancy symptoms before you miss a period is neither here nor there as and I’m sure many women on here will say the same thing… we’ve all had symptoms when we’re ttc which turned out to have nothing to do with being pregnant. If you are pregnant you really won’t need to be looking for lines even in the early days before a missed period, you will see it and by the next day it will be even clearer. It’s probably not what you wana hear but looking for barely visible lines isn’t the best thing to do because you just fall into a trap and obsession and when the line is at the barely there stage it’s hard to distinguish from a real early positive to just an evap line. I can tell you, out of using 20-30 different brands of tests when trying for my daughter (who’s now only 6 weeks, so it wasn’t that long ago) there was only 1 brand that didn’t throw out random evap lines and false positives. Yes it really is a thing, I had tests show pink lines clear as day when I wasn’t pregnant. It happens which is why it’s best to not get caught up on shadow lines x

I agree with this. I’d also add that if you have enough pregnancy hormones in your system to give you symptoms there is enough to show on a test. Most tests these days are 10miu which is very low.

You’ll always get people claiming they absolutely KNEW they were pregnant from conception and had symptoms from 1dpo (which is impossible). And statistically a lot of them will go on to be pregnant. But you’ll also get plenty of people who “knew” but turned out not to be.
