Ttc after loss

Hi,
Ttc after a missed miscarriage earlier in the year, finding each month with a negative really difficult. Tested today 12dpo BFN, feel like I'm having period pains so disheartened.
We are lucky to already have two children, but still feel so desperate for one more. Although now I'm worrying about a bigger age gap, eldest will be 9 next year.
Did anyone have a Bfn 12dpo and then a positive? I was sure i was having pregnancy symptoms but then again I thought the same last month 😅 feel like I'm going mad. We had a loss a few years ago also, and conceived again a month after so I think I Just expected it to happen that way again, feeling very sad.
Thank you X

Just hugs. I had 11 or so early m/c before DS was born and one between him and DT. I feel your pain. Have you been to GP and had bloods done for hormone levels? I had low progesterone and had treatment for my pg with DT. I’m sorry it’s such a difficult road. Hug your DCs tight and sending a hand hold.

I've had a blood test but the dr said they were limited on what they could test for so they only did the basic full blood count etc. Not sure if this is because it was just 1 missed miscarriage?
Thank you so much xx

Morning, so sorry to hear about your MC. This is our first month back ttc after a loss at 7w at the start of July. It took months to conceive that pregnancy so not hopeful it’s going to be happen right away. I tracked all my symptoms leading up to AF for a few months before falling preg and there was honestly no difference in symptoms even until I got my positive. Still crampy, tired and grumpy. Still drove myself crazy each month hoping the symptoms meant something though 🙈
Not sure if it’s the same everywhere but in my area they don’t investigate/treat until you’ve had 3 MC I believe. I also only ever tested positive in both pregnancies a day or 2 before, so depending on your cycle length that could be later than 12dpo.
Sorry you’re having such a rough time with it all, it’s so difficult not to feel down. Hugs X

So sorry you're going through this as well. Yes I think it seems to be in most areas, the Loss we had years ago was Tfmr as well so not sure if it was classed as a miscarriage to be honest. They just gave me a standard blood test which doesn't tell you much really.
Yes I'm definately driving myself insane feel like my period is coming but still holding onto hope. I agree the symptoms are all very similar.
Sending you lots of love and luck it can be a very lonely place, here if you need to talk xx

They’re very rigid about what they will test for unfortunately. I’ve got some blood tests coming up to look into thyroid, so asked if they could look at some of the hormones at the same time. They were very clear they wouldn’t test for those at this point. Until AF shows there’s no way to know for sure either way. I know what you mean though, it feels consuming when you start over analysing every little thing.
