Anyone else have stretchy snot like white cervical mucus? really thick but wet white/cream colour and stretchy (tmi). Usually at this stage in my cycle it’s pretty crumbly /dry so wondering if it’s a sign, know I shouldn’t be symptom spotting ofc eek!

Hey! Just coming across your thread after experiencing similar currently. I think I’m 8 dpo and the last two days I’ve noticed increased CM. I haven’t had a period yet since I stopped breastfeeding my 16 month old and I don’t remember it being this creamy/white in the past leading up to AF.

Just wondering if it was a sign for you in the end? 😊

Hiya, ah fingers crossed for you! So mine wasn’t a sign but my luteal phase was only 9 days in the end so period can a few days after I made this post. So even if things lined up well it likely may not have happened due to LP being quite a bit shorter than normal. I’m into cycle 2 now and hoping for better luck this time! Are you Lh testing so you’re sure you ovulated 8 days ago? Keep me updated fingers crossed for you

@ajc1994 yeah so I was testing every couple of days just out of curiosity more than anything because of breastfeeding and then about a week after weaning I had some ewcm so did a test and it showed as high (1.16) and the day after was high too, with the next day showing as low. It never actually changed any of the results to peak so I’m not 100% sure if I have ovulated or whether it’s my body coming back to pre pregnancy type levels if you know what I mean. I’m going to test on Wednesday to see though as I’ve noticed my resting heart rate has increased the past 3 days. It could be absolutely nothing but I’m symptom spotting like a loon now 🫣.

Oh yeah that’s pretty high tests then so I reckon you likely ovulated! And heart rates a good sign ☺️let me know how your test is! I’m TTC my second, cycle 2 and due to ovulate Thursday 🤞🏼 so hard not to symptom spot isn’t it, I just try keep myself busy!

Fingers crossed but won’t be too gutted if AF arrives as at least that means we can start again from next month and have a better idea of things.
My resting heart rate is back down now 😂 I’ll literally look for anything, like the rest of us!

Took a test this morning and it was negative. A little gutted but will try again in 2 days and then see if AF arrives x

You’re not out until AF arrives! Keeping my fingers crossed for you. So hard not to symptom spot. That will be me on Friday at 1 dpo 😂 although I always think those two weeks are ok as you can’t control it, I struggle with the DTD days constantly stressing if we are doing enough etc. keep me posted x

I think I’m 12dpo today, had a high opk on 15th so either ovulated that evening or the 16th (I did have a sharp pain in my right side on the evening of the 15th?). DTD on the 15th and 16th then I went away for the weekend with the girls so no other opportunity 🙈

I’m going to buy a digital test and use it on Saturday, if I can wait that long 🫣.

yeah that’s a good point with the ttw - nothing we can do other than wait I guess but it’s hard isn’t it haha. I notice ewcm and then tested, and dtd after seeing a high test xx

I had a similar line to yours also around 12dpo and think the digital picked it up around the same time as well.

@Catmum92Thank you! I just took a digital (couldn’t wait until Saturday 🫠) and it’s come up as pregnant. Trying not to get too excited as it’s early days still but keeping everything crossed xx

Yay how exciting! Congratulations. How long had you been trying for? Keep us posted! I hit peak Tuesday night and still peak last night so either ovulated last night (did have a few cramps then) or today, DTD Monday Tuesday and last night so 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

without sounding insensitive, we weren’t actively trying so to speak. I was just curious if/when I’d ovulate again after stopping breastfeeding as my cycle wasn’t showing any signs of returning. We said we would always love another and when I had the ewcm I was a bit like ohh ok it could be coming back and we dtd but wasn’t expecting anything from it. Can’t believe it still tbh.

Hey is it ok if I hop on? I’m 8dpo after fertility treatment and this two week wait is killing me. We have been told not to test until the 10th to avoid false positives and I don’t know how I’m going to get through the waiting for my period next week 😭

@Lookingtogrowthefamily thanks for replying. It’s my first via IUI, due to same sex marriage. I conceived my daughter naturally first time with my ex husband, she’s 5 now. Everything looked good on the run up to the procedure, nice follicle, endometrium a good depth, bloods good. But it’s just an agonising wait 🥺😞

I’m not sure what happens post trigger shot, like the possible outcomes etc but that definitely looks like a strong positive to me! 🤞🏼
