@Deerdancer34 have you had a hycosy yet ? When I asked Dr edge what her next plan would be if I wasn’t pregnant by cycle 4 and she said a Hyfosy that’s why I had one out here after my cycle 3 failed in preparation if cycle 4 doesn’t work out as was only £220 here! I’m really nervous I get too many follicles this cycle adding the gonal f into the mix but the Dr said it won’t make me recruit new follicles it should help support the lagging third follicle that only gets to about 11m on a cycle so fingers crossed! Xx

Deerdancer34 · 07/03/2026 19:29

@Meg310532 Yes I had one after my ectopic on SO and before I started up SO again to conceive my daughter. Wow that's such a good price and added benefit of being in lovely SA! I think its the letrozole that produce the follicles but I also know nothing about Gonal F! Fingers crossed 🤞 💓

Meg310532 · 07/03/2026 20:05

@Deerdancer34 thank you so much :)) I will let you know how the follicle scan goes on Monday :)) where are you in your cycle ? Xx

Deerdancer34 · 07/03/2026 20:28

@Meg310532 TWW, I test Tuesday 🫣

Meg310532 · 07/03/2026 20:29

@Deerdancer34 good luck !!!!!! Everything crossed for you xxxxx

Deerdancer34 · 08/03/2026 10:20

@Meg310532 Thank you! I'm not feeling that hopeful because I have that sick feeling I get before period although I did just read Utrogestan can make you feel sick. I might swap back to Cyclogest because I don't remember feeling sick on that! Don't know if anyone else felt quite sick on Utrogestan?

Jecca88 · 10/03/2026 11:39

Hey my loves,

@Hopeandfaith1990 ahhh so glad the 20 week scan went well, its a good sign baby is moving sooo much :) are you feeling any flutters yet? I am so sorry about your mental health and so glad your midwife is taking this seriously. I still feel strange about telling people but kinda have to now as showing. I went to a christening on sunday and so many congratulations - it was rather overwhelming tbh. Everyone was super lovely - but it just felt hard to hear. i do really hope you can have some enjoyment.

@Meg310532 glad to have you back on here, i know we caught up seperatly but this is your month and everything sounds great.

@Deerdancer34 how did the testing go my love? sending you positive thoughts and lots of love.

How is everyone else doing?

xxx

Deerdancer34 · 10/03/2026 16:17

@Jecca88 Awww, I know how you feel. Everyone will be so excited for you & well meaning but you have that trepidation 💗 Honestly you will keep pinching yourself, even when baby arrives 💗
I tested negative 😭 I'm finding it very hard this month. I really thought for Baby 2 I know what the plan is, we will do as we did to conceive my daughter, it won't take the whole 6 cycles...so its a bit galling we'll be going onto Cycle 8. I feel I've been so positive because I know I'm lucky to have my daughter but these negative pregnancy tests just bring back those feelings of being useless. I've always dreamt of a big family, didn't realise I wouldn't be able to do it...Anyway this is a bad day, it'll get better! Sorry for my moan. Hope everyone is ok 💗💗

pagey23 · 10/03/2026 16:18

@Deerdancer34i tested today too and negative. Been really grumpy all day. Big hugs xxx

Jecca88 · 10/03/2026 18:33

@Deerdancer34 I am so sorry my love and please never apologise for having a vent and a moan. You are allowed to be grateful for your daughter but also long for the family you always wanted and thought you would have - two things can be true at the same time. Not to mention the financial cost and the toll on your body - its just not bloody fair. Have you spoken to CRP - have they suggested anything else? what are you doing tonight to treat yourself?

I am so sorry too @pagey23 shitty news :(

Deerdancer34 · 10/03/2026 20:18

@Jecca88 Ahhh thank you, you worded that so so beautifully 🥹 I haven't spoken to them yet, I'd prefer to talk to Dr E directly, I always find it awkward going through the nurses.... I think Dr E thinks it'll happen but I will talk to her at next appointment. I don't want to pay for more tests 😅I actually had a lunch planned with my MIL, so that was nice and distracting!

@pagey23 I am so so sorry my dear, its so so hard each month. How many SO have you done? Have a good scream, shout, cry. Sending hugs 💗

pagey23 · 10/03/2026 20:45

@Deerdancer34last time I spoke to Dr E she said you can do as many SOs as you want - they advise 6 but if you want to keep going after that you can. It’s completely up to you ❤️ I’ve done 3 rounds now but had a long period before that doing naturally without SO. I’ve been with CRP for over a year with no success yet. I found this month particularly hard because i tested a day early and saw a line so I thought i was in for a chance! I was also cramping a bit and just felt different this month. Oh well, onto the next one! Will try a higher dose of letrozole this month. Take care - here to chat if you need me. We are on exactly the same days!!! Xxxx

Deerdancer34 · 11/03/2026 15:28

@pagey23 Thank you, likewise always here, it definitely helps me to offload my emotion! Ohhhh I really feel for you, that's crap to see a line& then it disappear - are you definitely out? Ha that's funny we're on the same schedule! Maybe this next month for us💪💪💪 Yes I think I plan to stick with SO xxx

pagey23 · 12/03/2026 08:06

Hmm I’m actually not sure if I’m out. 10 DPO I was negative, 11 DPO very slight squinter but 12 DPO (today) is negative. Really felt different this cycle and my boobs are sore. Maybe I’m having a chemical… trying not to let it get me down and give me hope instead!! I think I’ll know for sure tomorrow 🤞

Deerdancer34 · 12/03/2026 21:32

@pagey23 🤞

Hopeandfaith1990 · 13/03/2026 09:51

So sorry about your negative @Deerdancer34 and I completely echo Jecca, you can be grateful for your daughter and still be sad that expanding your family in the way you would like to is not straightforward. It’s so difficult. When you put the amount of effort into TTC that we do with all the meds and monitoring etc it just feels especially unfair when it doesn’t work. Sending love.

@Jecca88 totally feel you with the congratulations, I feel like I’ve turned into such an awkward person and just don’t know how to take it lol. How many weeks are you now? Have you bought anything yet? That’s my next challenge. Setting myself an achievable goal of buying something small baby related next time I go to a supermarket.

My referral for the mental health team has come through and I’ve got my first appt with them mid April. It’s with a clinical psychologist and I have to do a lot of paperwork before which feels a bit scary. I went back for the rest of the images today that they couldn’t get in the 20 week scan last week, everything was good. for the first time I went without my husband as he’s on a work trip, v scary.

My work ‘announced’ my pregnancy in an email
bulletin this week (with my permission ofc) so I’ve had a fair few people talk to me about it which in a way has been nice. I think I am on the way to feeling a bit more positive about it all.

how is everyone? @pagey23 did you test again?

big love xxx

@Hopeandfaith1990 so glad you got to see baby again and omg so scary doing it without husband, such a brave lady. Did you find out the gender?- can't remember if you wanted to find out or not.

Amazing about the referral, think it will also come in handy too once baby is here - as i feel like we will still be traumistised - i am still so triggered by pregnancy anouncements, someone in my team at work just announced at 11 weeks with a babygrow and scan pic etc - they haven't even had the 12 week scan - i am like how can you be soooo sure - its just pure blissful ignorance. Good news about getting the news out at work - must feel a bit of a relief.

I too had my midwife appointment on Weds and bless the lady - she was trying to talk to me about the glucose test whilst holding the doopler and i couldn't concentrate on anything she was saying - i was like 'is that me or the baby' - heartbeat all good and i am measuring bang on - so old schoool where they just measure your bump with a tape measure lols. 27 weeks tomorrow and we are going away to spain for a last min holiday - got a fit to fly letter just incase and my husband speak spainish fluently and we go every year - so know it well/ all hospitals have been scoped out and thought it was a safe place to go - hopefully will be able to enjoy.

xx

pagey23 · 13/03/2026 17:42

Hi ladies. Quick question.. I think I had a chemical this month. CRP are advising me to skip the next cycle as egg quality will be low?! Has anyone heard the same? I really don’t want to miss a cycle. They also asked me to come in for a consultation so see if any meds need changing. Has anyone had a chemical with CRP and was anything changed? Really appreciate all your help!!! Have a great weekend girls xxx

Hopeandfaith1990 · 14/03/2026 08:24

@pagey23 I’ve always heard the old ‘more fertile after a miscarriage’ but I’m not sure there’s any truth in it.. did they explain why egg quality would be low? Like why the chemical causes that?

@Jecca88 I know, it was so scary I had to psyche myself up. But it was that or wait in limbo for another week so I’m glad I did it. No we don’t know the gender!

Omg I know re the certainty. I saw my friend and her husband once before their scan at like 10 weeks and the husband said ‘oh we’ve got to go and see the baby!’ And I was thinking ‘wow our pre scan feelings are different’ I’m just there hoping and praying the heartbeat is still going. I’m feeling some movements now which is definitely helping.

Yes that’s what my midwife was like! Trying to make small talk looking for the heartbeat and I was like nope sorry can’t do that until you find it 🫠

ohh Spain sounds lovely. My in laws have a place in Spain (outside of Valencia) so I’d love to go too before July. I’m so glad you’re getting away, I hope it’s warm!! Xx

@Hopeandfaith1990 Aww thank you 🥰 So pleased you had a good scan again, especially going by yourself! Makes it all feel a bit more real when it's announced doesn't it!? I'm so glad your referral has come through 💪 ooo what do you think you might buy? That'll be very precious 💓

@Jecca88 Awww I'm so pleased you had a good appointment too, the tape measure thing makes me laugh, I still don't understand how that can measure the baby! Ooo really enjoy Spain. Hopefully you can relax, take stock of how far you've come and make the most of the rest!

@pagey23 I'm so sorry it's a chemical 😕 I haven't had a chemical with them. It seems a bit strange your egg quality would be lower but I don't know anything on this. Maybe they want to boost medications to help support a pregnancy but then if you're doing SO, can't that just be discussed in that appointment? What meds are you currently on?

TammyinCork · 15/03/2026 18:24

@pagey23 So sorry to hear about your chemical, and sending you my warm thoughts. I really hope CRP give you some reasons for the egg quality issue, and a plan for the next superovulation cycle. It must be so hard and frustrating...

@Jecca88 Have a fantastic time in Spain! Whereabouts in Spain do you travel? Really pleased to hear you have come so far - that's awesome!

@Hopeandfaith1990 Fantastic news, and great to hear you've had so much support from colleagues when you announced!

@Deerdancer34 Very sorry to hear about your negative. I also thought that trying for a second would be much easier than it has been. Really wishing you well for the next cycle and all your efforts.

Hope everyone else is doing well!

It has been a while since I last posted... We had our second IVF cycle at the clinic in Alicante in mid-February. Got 9 eggs again, but this time only 3 fertilised: 1 made it to blastocyst stage and we will get the results next week. They have asked me to come back and do an ERA test with them at the beginning of April, a month before the proposed transfer of my euploid embryo from the first cycle!

In the meantime, I am coming to London on Tuesday morning to visit Dr Thum at the Lister, and get re-tested for NK cells and thyroid antibodies. (I still disagree with Dr Edge's prescription of intralipids, and my doctors at the clinic in Spain agree that they would be dangerous for me, so am hoping for a second opinion from Dr Thum). Just wondering on the off chance that anyone from here will be there at that time?

Deerdancer34 · 17/03/2026 15:55

Thank you @TammyinCork . Really crossing everything for you next week 🤞💓

Rainbowchaser87 · 18/03/2026 11:13

Hi Everyone!
I disappeared I know but felt overwhelmed lately and needed space!
congratz to the new pregnant ladies! So happy for u and so encouraging to hear!
@pagey23 sorry to hear about ur loss! I actually had a chemical back in Nov with CRP. Tbh in my case they had to change the meds as I have been on steroids for a tear and never felt pregnant. The month I felt pregnant I didn’t take the steroids so we realised that prednisone was too strong for me and perhaps we had to change my meds. So I am now on Hydroxicloroquin l. Don’t remember they mentioned to me about egg quality after miscarriage…I took a break of a month as I was exhausted but also because u need to be at leats 3 weeks on Hydroxicloroquin before starting ttc again. Started to ttc in Jan but few days ago had my 3rd negative test of the year so waiting for the period to come anytime now.

hope this helps? Keep me posted xxx

pagey23 · 18/03/2026 11:44

@Rainbowchaser87thank you so much for this and everyone else’s help ❤️🥹. It’s very useful ahead of my meeting with CRP which I’m on my way to now. I really don’t want to skip a cycle but I’ll let you know what they say. I’m sorry you haven’t had a positive yet - are you doing super ovulation? How many rounds have you done now? Take care everyone and hope you get a chance to head outside today - it’s a lovely day!! ☀️ xx

pagey23 · 18/03/2026 11:47

@TammyinCorkhow did it go with the lister? I’ve heard good things about Dr Thum. Did they recommend anything different to CRP? I have a thyroid issue and went on thyroxine as my TSH was high xx
