False positive :(

Has anyone had a false positive on the cheap hcg strips?

I tested yesterday morning, (attached photo) and had a positive, tested again this morning (both first urine wee samples) and a massive negative. The only thing I can say is the test strip I used yesterday was a different brand to the one I used this morning. (Ran out of the other one I got a positive on).

I am worried because I have a bit of a UTI and this has caused a fake positive for me, I read about it online and it can happen but rare..

shall I keep testing or wait for AF to arrive on Friday?

Sorry both the photos were from yesterday morning where I got a positive! This is now as I have just tested again:

Probably too pale for me to certain it's a positive from my experience. More like an evap line.

I would still say you aren’t out the running till your period arrives. If you continue to get negatives it could have been a chemical pregnancy.

I had one a few months back, got a positive but the next day it was super light then back back to negative. Which is very frustrating.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

As previous poster suggested, most accurate time to test is when period is due.

Sorry to hear that! It’s an emotional rollercoaster journey ..

I am due AF on Friday but knowing my luck she’ll be on her way soon!

No AF has arrived but still testing negative. Going to leave it the weekend to see if AF arrives !!
