Conception vitamins

I have seen a lot of people recommend vitamins to help during conception and I am interested in trying some but a lot of people are also saying that they can mess up your cycles and delay periods and some people have even said they’ve missed their periods due to taking conception vitamins so I’m wondering if any one has any recommendations for vitamins they that have found good and have not caused any side effects like delaying periods etc?

Thank you :)

I recommend naitre pricey but defo worth it- and conception vitamins may adjust your cycle if it needs adjusting- its not a bad thing at all!

I’ve tried a few- wellwoman delayed my cycle (although can’t guarantee it was that but that was the only change). Pregnacare made me feel sick. The ones I’ve settled with that don’t give me side effects are proceive but they are expensive, especially as you buy the fish oil capsules separately too.

I’m worried about the same things but just ordered the pregnacare ones to try. Got a big international trip soon so will be 3 months til actually trying so figure if they make me feel sick I have time to try the others. My diet is awful and don’t normally take any supplements so definitely need the boost.

If you have a good diet full of vegetables, fruit, greens, fish, flaxseed, pumpkin seeds, beans etc you don't need a complete vitamin complex , in my opinion. I only took folic acid,
Vitamin D and CoQ10 (for egg quality) and conceived within under a year trying.

@Andrasapregnacare are the worst

agree with @lavafieldre vegetables and coq10 and folate not folic acid!! And seed cycling!

As i said before i took naitre...pricey but worth it and conceived 2nd cycle but actually was the 1st cycle trying properly in the fertile window

I took pregnacare and had no side affects or anything
When pregnant with twins and despite being vegetarian my iron count etc was excellent throughout the pregnancy.

Prior to taking pregnacare it wasnt

I was very happy with it.
