Thrush when ttc

Hi i am 5dpo and i have thrush, how am i supposed to treat it? My pharmacists have said i can only use clotrimazole cream but surely it cant cure the infection inside since it is an external cream? Thank you.

Hi jenny I went to the GP and they prescribed the pessary and cream just the usual Clotrimazole for thrush (Canesten) they said it was fine your only not meant to have fluconazole. They said the only difference when prescribing clotrimazole is pregnant ladies may need a longer course
