Just looking for a bit of a check in. Feeling slightly down having hit the 12 month mark and wondering what's coming next!

How many months/years have you been TTC?

Hitting the 12 month mark is a heavy feeling and I'm sorry you're going through it. Have you been to your GP or had any tests done already?

Don't lose hope, I've just had my first ever BFP on our 17th cycle of TTC. I'd only had blood tests done so far but everything had come back pretty much normal for both me and my partner, yet for some reason it still took that long. Unless there is actually something making it more difficult, which will hopefully get picked up when you start seeing specialists and gives them something to work on, some people seem to need everything balanced just right for it to happen. We were generally healthy anyway but we made some small lifestyle changes and I think that helped.

I know how absolutely hopeless and frustrating the whole process feels, and you get to the point where you can't even imagine it happening. But just because you've hit the 12 month mark it doesn't mean it can't happen for you, you've given yourself a year to know your body and work out the adjustments you can make. Wishing you all the luck!

Thank you, that is really good to know! We went to the GP this week and given a fertility referall, but the appointment is 8 months away! I can't help but think there must be something not right...
