Copper IUD removal

I’m not sure if this is in the right place so apologies if not.

I had my coil (non-hormonal) removed last Thursday with a view of starting to TTC. My period was due on Friday/Saturday but it hasn’t arrived. I’m usually like clockwork (give or take a day), normally have all the usual signs in the days leading up to it (particularly achey boobs!) but currently nothing.
I have read that having a coil removed can throw your cycle out a bit but should settle within 3 months.
My question is, could I still get pregnant in this time even though my cycle has/is seemingly changed/changing? Obviously this is very early days so I wasn’t planning on tracking everything per se, but would have been helpful to keep an eye on, particularly knowing when I was late/ovulating etc.

Sorry if this is a really naive question. I’m 33 but I’m not close enough with anyone with children to ask them!

Definitely not pregnant at the moment, negative test on Sunday (the first one I’ve ever done in my life!)

Any help, advice, reassurance will be much appreciated!

Thank you!

Yes you definitely can get pregnant right away. I had my hormonal
one out mid April and ovulated 2 weeks later then period 10 days later, now on a regular cycle. My advice would be to test daily (between 11am and 6pm) LH strips to see if and when you are ovulating, the test line will get stronger 1 or 2 days before you are ovulating and that’s your fertile window. Good luck! X

I had my copper coil removed early May and discovered I was pregnant in June.

Yep. Had mine out and never got another period because I fell that very cycle. Good luck 🍀
