Ttc after loss/ Test confusion

Hi all

I had a miscarriage on the 13th of June at 9 weeks and had a d&c c the same day.
Have not really been tracking opk and we have not been careful!
Had my check up beginning of the week and all is good. Doctor said that uterus has thickened and my period should be due soon. I did a blood test and hcg was at 11 on Wednesday.

Still no period today and lots of water white discharge. I decided to take a pregnancy test with sensitive of 25miu/ml and it came back a faint positive. However I knew my hcg was 11.
Could this be a new pregnancy? Is that possible. I definitely ovulated after the 3rd week as I still had bleeding the first 2 weeks on and off. I am now cycle day 39

Hmm... did you ever get a negative test after the MC? Either way, I think it definitely could be a new one.

I would have thought unless you had retained products, the HCG would have left your system by 4 weeks (which was around when your HCG was 11 it sounds like). That's just what I would be thinking if it were me... not based on science! When I had a D&C the tests went to neg pretty quickly.

@RooneyRu I never got a complete negative test but my test on Tuesday was vvvvf on a sensitive test and blood work 11 so that would make sense. i would of thought by now that i would be negative since i was 11 and it wouldn't show on a 25hcg test.
Definitely no retained as i had a check up and all good there. i am just sooo confused . it doesn't feel like my period is coming and with my other pregnancies never got any symptoms until i was 6-7 weeks

After my d&c i tested positive for 9 weeks 😔

To add i was 18 weeks so not sure if that was why i had hcg for ages in my system
