Hi, i tested yesterday, which i know is stupid really as it was only cd26, and my cycles range from 30 to 35 days but mainly 34/35. The first test was neg but the i did the other one about 3 hours later and a very very very very faint line appeared in about 4.5 mins. The test were sainsburys own and say to read the test within 1-5 minutes, but ignore after 10 mins.I dont know what to think, has this happened to anyone else. I keep thinking its just an evapouration line.I know people say a lines a line but this line dosnt really have hardly any colour to it, but did come within the time.

I would say that's an evaporation line, because as you say it has got hardly any colour to it and it took quite a while to show up.

It doesn't meant that your not pregnant, it just means that you've tested too early - your period could be another 9 days away, in which case, if you have concieved, implantation may not even have occured yet.

I would wait at least a week (and yes I know how hard it is waiting!) before testing again.

Good luck.

Belgo....If i am preg then it would have been cd16,and im now on cd27, that is the only time bd happened this month, so would that mean it still wouldn't have implanted yet? I just dont know when to test as if im on a 30 day cycle it may show up with an early test.

Early tests are not always that reliable.

I would wait 14 days after CD16 before doing another test - so that would be CD30. But even then, because your cycle is regulary 34/35 days, you might not get a reliable result until CD35.

Implantation takes place 6-12 days after conception, so that could be CD28.

I would say that if it is grey/colourless then it is an evaporation line.

If it is coloured then you are in business!
