Low sperm motility

Hi all,
My husband has done an initial SA but has been asked to repeat the test so that they can double check the results. Essentially, his motility was 1% and his count was only a little below average. He is a non-smoker, doesn't drink, eats healthily and exercises frequently, how can he improve his sperm motility before we have to try IVF?
Thanks in advance!

Does he have protein shakes/powder?

Not currently, but he has previously used Huel

Zinc supplements! Didn't the clinic tell you this? Improved for my DH once he started them, advised by fertility clinic. Oh and loose underwear/trousers.

Nope, the doctor went straight to recommending IVF! This was our first appointment too

Also, thanks for the suggestion. Is this on top of what would already be in his conception supplements?

Check what's in his supplements @Turkeyface in our cast we just had to buy over the counter zinc tablets.

my other half was the same but under different circumstances - he had a reversal. On his first SA it came back just under normal range for his overall count, but low motility. This was about 8 weeks post operation. He was taking the wellman conception supplement before the reversal operation and continued with this after. After the SA we added in seven seas omega. the cycle after the SA we conceived. I have no idea what helped but that's what we used.

Also, our surgeon advised the following to help aid sperm - no ice baths, no very hot baths, avoid hot tubs, loose boxers, low or no alcohol, no smoking.

Thank you for your help! My husband is also taking the Wellman multivitamin and we've also started him on Omega 3 capsules to see if that helps so fingers crossed.
Annoyingly, he's basically ticking every box for stuff he's doing correctly (besides wearing loose fitting boxers), so we're trying to just do everything possible before having to resort to IVF
