Playing on Tiktok last night infront of my fan to keep cool and got onto tarot readings on the live section.

A well known fertility one ‘Gemma’ - told me I would have my successful pregnancy in September after paying her £6

Many years ago when I was struggling I was a phone tarot reader.

It's literally all made up bollocks, however even in the scammy phonelines we weren't allowed to comment on fertility because that was immoral as fuck.

In my (very naive) youth when I believed all sorts of crap I was told by quite a few “psychics”, mediums and tarot readers that I would have 2-3 children etc. My dead mother apparently told me she was happy I would one day have a daughter. Tarot reader told me my two kids would be very close in age.

After 5 years and multiple miscarriages I’m now in my mid 40s and never managed to have any children.

The psychics are all over tiktok - it is very easy to get them on your main page and watch them. I guess also because my algorithm is lots about pregnancy at the moment.

No interview as such, I filled in a form, they called me and I treated them as though they were a customer, and I got the job.

I just had everything written down and treated it like advice rather than tarot.

For example one poor lady called and asked if her highly abusive boyfriend was going to come back to her, so I just made up a reading to tell her to stay the fuck away from him etc.

There were a lot of religious people calling and staying on the phone for 45 minutes telling me I was going to hell. If I cut them off I would get paid less so I just used to listen.

It wasn't ideal, and it felt a bit grubby but I had 4 kids to feed, no childcare to get a job, ex didn't pay maintenence and was claiming the tax credits which I was fighting to get back, so needs must at that time. I would put the kids to bed and sit up on the phone all night.

@RepoTheGeriatricOperaSounds like you did what you had to do to make ends meet in a tough situation, quite scary how easy you got the job. I think majority of people who seeks out psychics are looking for some sort of guidance when they are vulnearable and isolated - and that everything will be OK.

i mean a lot of the predictions come ‘true’ because probability dictates that a lot of women who are actively TTC will get pregnant in that timeframe (then on top of that they can guess the gender with 50/50 odds) so you do see the ‘omg it was right for me!!’ people on TikTok. But there will be loads where it wasn’t.

if it’s the same gemma i’ve used she was accurate for me, along with a popular psychic on there🙈 there are definitely a lot of fakes on there but i’ve found a very small few to be accurate

They aren't accurate, they got lucky.

It's super easy to read cards and be vague enough that people think you're spot on, and people tend to remember what they got right rather than what they got wrong.
