2ww symptoms changed after pregnancy?

Did anyone else notice that their PMS/2ww symptoms changed after pregnancy? For as long as I can remember I always got sore boobs literally the day after ovulation on the run up to my period. And when taking progesterone as birth control, again immediately tender boobs. It was my biggest sign.

but last year I got pregnant and made it to 8 weeks before the loss. Since then my symptoms have been entirely different and no matter how much progesterone is in my body now, my boobs never get sore.

it’s so confusing for me because it’s like I have to relearn my body

My body has randomly changed cycles or symptoms before a period a couple times after a few babies. Also supposedly every 10yrs our cycles make changes because our body changes and ages and hormones change. The female body is truly fascinated. My husband says men cant compete with woman because how can one human body bleed for a week and not die hahahah

Hahah that’s so true. The things that women go through is insane. And we are always adapting to it.

what symptom changes have you noticed?

I had a 28 week loss in Feb and since then I’ve had nausea during 2ww, which I’ve never had before (and was obviously convinced I was pregnant on our first cycle trying again!) I also used to get sore boobs but don’t any more.

When i was younger, before my first child i had extreme periods, I mean heavy, heavy periods, that were extremely painful which ended mw up in hospital on a drip and iron infusions and all the things and I missed periods often. Then after my first baby that all went away, I still got extremely heavy periods and they were painful but I didnt miss them as often and I never needed to go back to hospital. After another bubs, they got a little better again and then after my last baby I never missed a period until 18months later and my period isnt as heavy and very rarely painful.

@Miraclemuma03 wow that’s amazing. My mum was the same, she had very irregular periods as a teen then when she had my brother she had regular cycles after that.

Since having my last baby, my periods are much more regular then they ever have been. Also I am in the thick of perimenopaus which started right before I fell pregnant so that could he also why they have had a major change .
