Help please - could this be a false positive ?

Trying to make sense of this . Had this positive test 3 weeks ago. Period hadn’t arrived and has had no bleeding . My HCG bloods are negative so I’m not pregnant but haven’t had a loss. I’m so baffled as I feel like this looks positive ? Is it possible to have a false positive this clear? It’s a pink line , a bit thinner than the control line .

what else could be causing it if I’m not pregnant? Head is spinning and I feel sad for a pregnancy that probably never existed

also has anyone ever seen an evap look like this? I haven’t in my experience but I could be wrong.

That test doesn’t look like it’s finished developing at all - you can see the fluid moving up the test line.

It could be a faulty test?

It’s a possibility I guess , but would a faulty test give a second pink line like that?
