Starting a new thread because we got to 999 replies!

I seem to have quite a quick peak but some people are slower.

I went off CM and the tests, as well as the fact i usually ovulate around day 16 - 18.

We DTD the weds based on CM, got a positive OPK on the Friday and we DTD then too.

Im 7/8 dpo and finding it hard not to symptom spot and I’m driving myself crazy because I want to test.
I had mild cramping yesterday and today I don’t usually get this with my period starting so it is a little bit unusual but I could just be overthinking everything x

@amey44 mine has done similar to Musbroom’s over the same sort of time duration, but I would have described mine as gradual rather than quick. Seen a steady increase testing a few times a day. So I’m not sure whether it’s fast or not 😅 I guess actually looking at it it went up quite quickly in just the one day.

@Mushroo@EmPeEfoh ok that makes me feel better I was getting worried as mine went from 0.53 after my period to now 0.18 this morning (CD 10) I will test later though as my evening tests seem to be darker. I hope I don’t ovulate rlly late this cycle cuz it’s already feeling so long aha🙃

@boredinmy30s I’m good thanks! Also exhausted - I’m now 5/6 DPO… just waiting game now but no particular symptoms or anything!

Hey ladies just an update a gestational sac was clearly visible on the scan today, im on cyclogest now and its stopped the bleeding, epu want me under their care and have recommend regular scans until my dating scan to keep an eye on me, so very reassuring.

Really aha it seems quite common then I was hoping i’d see a steady rise so we could make sure we bd enough a few days prior 🙃

My tests today were 0.18 this morning then 0.53 tonight! So now im even more confused? I’ve been looking at peoples test progression online and it seems that once it gets to 0.4 their peak is the next day or few days? i’m only CD 10 though and my app predicts i’ll ovulate the 18th? I have been having slight cramps today though even though no ewcm. Everything is just confusing ttc🥲🤣

@ChaE05bbt just confirms ovulation happened but doesn’t predict when it’s going to happen unless you temp for a couple of months and notice certain trends ☺️ best to do is temp everyday in the morning before getting up out of bed..also track lh if you want to pinpoint ovulation ☺️ after lh peak count 24 hours for ovulation and then look for 3 consecutive days of higher temps ☺️

Spotting has started for me this evening so I expect cycle day 1 tomorrow. And on we go... Cycle 5 since the mc, 4 from the chemical 🤞

@ChaE05 get a two decimal place thermometer and take it after your biggest sleep chunk. My is nearly always at the same time of the day, but it’s not the morning. However, I still see a pattern.

Latest test is still getting darker so I should hold off from sex tonight, right? To try SMEP? Last sex was early yesterday so partner is “recharging” and I want to try and time it well.

Would you say once you get a lighter LH strip you’re fairly certain to be within the 24 hours window of OV?

@amey44 my last peak I went from 0.35 to 1.42 in about 14 hours. I would go by your EWCM as your body is the greatest indicator. You could try BD every second day anyway, if you can manage that 🤪

@EmPeEf I don't know if it's just me but I think the test line looks darker than the control line. I would definitely BD tomorrow and test again 🤞🏻

I’ve been meaning to say, for anyone who wants to temp but has no self discipline, I’d def recommend the Oura ring. Does it for you. It’s kind of pricey but I got mine as a consolation treat to myself last period 😂

I’ve not got ewcm yet so i’m gonna see what my test looks like tomorrow I ended up testing again and my lh was reading as 0.58 in the app so it’s going up. We do try to bd every other day but my partners working a lot for the next month like all day and coming back very late at night so it’s quite hard to feel up to it some days and i’m also possibly supposed to be going to stay with family soon but don’t want to arrange that for on my fertile times lol😬

I actually don’t have any EWCM yet at all which has worried me slightly. It’s thin, watery and completely clear. Maybe it’s just further up I don’t know.

Okay. Don’t think I need to question if/when I ovulate again. Intense, painful bloating, nausea and diarrhoea symptoms. I can hardly move! How am I supposed to BD today??

I apologise for clogging up the threads so much lately with this cycle, but I got lucky and feel I got some answers after my post chemical confusion. So hopefully I can chill out more in future! And finally managed to record an LH peak 🥰
