Morning ladies... I see some lovely bfps!! Over the moon for you. It's so great to see after all our struggles!
AF arrived this morning...so onto cycle 9 for me. But I'm off the beach today with my gorgeous boy and partner so I'm going to have a lovely day 🌞 sending love to everyone x

Yeah I am going to go as it is at 8:30 so too early to cancel. I am hoping I can either get a scan or a hcg blood test. Annoyingly it is a self funded appointment so have to pay for it 😂

Oh damn!! Good idea though re blood test

That sounds a lovely plan, have a good day! Period due to start for me today, I expect it would be tomorrow because I only stopped progesterone a day ago and it can delay period slightly. On to cycle 16 for me 🤪 but less than a month until my nhs fertility appt, which will be just before next period is due. I’m hoping o could be like @Mummysparrow and get a Bfp before the appt, apparently it happens quite a lot!

peanutForever · 10/07/2025 07:03

@Mummysparrowcongrats!!

Papill19 · 10/07/2025 07:53

@Mummysparrow congratulations!! That’s such amazing news!
@ChaE05 you sound very level headed and like you have a lovely day ahead of you! Enjoy it and keep that positive energy for this cycle!
@peanutForever how are you feeling today?

attaching my line progression, feeling very happy with it, not due my period until tomorrow so once the weekend is over I think I will believe it more!

@ChaE05 Sorry about AF arriving. I’m glad of the company at the start of the cycle, though! ❤️ Enjoy the beach! 🏖️

@Mummysparrow congratulations, absolutely delighted for you ❤️ let us know what happens at the appointment.

@ChaE05 sorry AF has arrived but you're gonna have a lovely day ☀️

@1Birdsong fingers crossed you get your BFP soon but at least you have the appointment.

@Papill19 great line progression 👏🏻

Mushroo · 10/07/2025 09:50

@Papill19 lovely!! I did a ‘proper’ one this morning and told DH so it’s feeling very real now! Just want to get through this weekend when my period would be due before relaxing a bit.

@Mummysparrow how exciting! How many DPO are you?

@Mushroo it's so nice to see it on a digital!

ForGiddyDreamer · 10/07/2025 09:53

@Mummysparrow your good news made me so happy this morning ❤️ all the best for a sticky bean!

No AF yet for me but she's coming as I've no energy & am still in bed. Enjoy the beach @ChaE05 the sun has actually come out where I am! I lived in south England for 7 years before the move here & I can't get over the weather difference!

I know! I wanted to do it to show DH, otherwise the cheap ones I’d have had to explain it 😂

Iris2024 · 10/07/2025 10:02

Just checking in on the new thread. Congratulations to all with their BFP’s - lovely news to see! 🩷 also sorry to everyone struggling and where AF has arrived.

I’m CD5 and AF has just ended so moving into cycle 5- a new cycle of hope 🤍 Let’s hope July is our month.

sarahspeaking · 10/07/2025 10:19

@EmPeEf I'll be 12DPO tomorrow and AF due too so going to test in the morning, had some cramping and spotting this week so not sure whether to be hopeful or ready for disappointment!

Mummysparrow · 10/07/2025 10:25

Thanks everyone. My appointment went well. She took a full history and said that she suspects PCOS and with my endometriosis and c section niche she isn't surprised that I hadnt conceived and that the surgery I had will have helped things. She has accepted the test as a positive and prescribed me progesterone to give me the best chance. She said at my age of 36 60% off egg are faulty. She has told me not to do vigorous exercise and to eat only hot foods to minimise risk of infection

SureLook · 10/07/2025 10:47

@Mushroo the men need it in clear black and white 😂

@Mummysparrow great that you're starting on progesterone. Will you ring your GP now or what's the next step?

Papill19 · 10/07/2025 10:49

@Mummysparrow that’s excellent news! Did she test your progesterone levels or just prescribe? Will you have an early scan?
@Mushroo yayy congrats! I did a digital too but just the pregnant one; will do the how many weeks after the weekend I think! I’ve got a bbq at mine on Saturday so have no idea how I will get away with not drinking!

Mushroo · 10/07/2025 10:57

@Papill19 i know! I have so many plans over the next few weeks too. Might have to do a lot of ‘driving’ to get away with it….!

Last time if we were hosting, I’d keep some alcohol free beer stashed and pour that when no one was looking, and once it’s in the glass you can’t tell at all

Papill19 · 10/07/2025 11:00

@Mushroo yes I was thinking of doing that with alcohol free gin. I’m just hoping no one follows me into the kitchen when I make a round of drinks 😂

😂 I know, I felt like a secret agent half the time!

ChaE05 · 10/07/2025 11:23

@Mummysparrowsounds like you're appointment went really well. That's great she has prescribed progesterone. Interesting about the % of faulty eggs. God knows what mine is at 38 🫠
Sorry what did she mean about risk of infection in regards to exercise and hot food? Not heard that before x let's hope for a sticky bean for you 🥰 x

Mummysparrow · 10/07/2025 11:25

@Papill19no she didn't check them. She just said due toy age she wanted to give me the best chance and that she will prescribe the progesterone. Wasn't expecting it tbh.
@SureLookyeah I will be contacting the GP as it cost me £55 for a month's supply of progesterone and she said my GP should be happy to give me a prescription for enough until 16 weeks. She said I will need to get a referral to early pregnancy unit as well so I can have early scans due to my TFMR loss last year

SureLook · 10/07/2025 11:48

Looking good @Papill19 I think @Mushroo idea is good. Probably your only option. You could also use the excuse of hosting as to why you're not drinking too much.

@Mummysparrow that all sounds very reassuring. It's great peace of mind to know you're being monitored!

overwork · 10/07/2025 12:14

I found it much easier to accept a drink and walk around with the glass in my hand last time, nobody notices if you don’t actually drink it. One memorable meal with my parents we kept pointing out distractions whilst my partner finished off my wine, as well as drinking his won. He was leathered when we left.
I think I’m 12 DPO too, absolutely nothing to suggest I’m pregnant and a little bit crampy too suggesting I’m due. Not going to test just to see it confirmed so I think I’ll be around here next month too!
Congratulations for all the positives, I love how many this group has got!

amey44 · 10/07/2025 12:44

I’m so nervous about missing my fertile window this cycle i’m CD 10 atm and my partner is working loads over the next few weeks so it’s gonna be hard to BD on time as i’ll probably walk asleep by the time he’s back:/

Does anyone know if you lh test do your tests gradually get darker everyday leading up to ovulation or is it just a sudden really dark test? I’m trying to line it up with my cm as well so I don’t end up missing my fertile days before ov but I don’t get much some months sometimes only two days worth
