@PeonyPatch I was diagnosed with PCOS years ago, but I think I've managed it with diet and supplements quite well, but I wasn't trying to conceive before so didn't know about the strips etc. Personally I feel like having all the information I can about my body helps me, but only you know if that's going to drive you mad or not!

Interestingly though, since I've been logging my data it seemed to me ovulation was normal and I thought maybe I don't have PCOS, but Premom says 'we've spotted potential signs of PCOS in your data' but I haven't gone premium to find out why they think that, as I don't think I've accurately logged for long enough for it to determine that.

Ah I see, interesting. I agree with you about having as much info as possible about your body. I guess I could try it anf see how it goes. It feels like a lot of extra admin 🥲

Can anyone else see a faint line on this my partner said he can but i’m not sure if it’s just an indent? He literally never sees lines usually lol

Just catching up ladies!

@Nightshift110 I'm so so sorry. It's so shit. Sending hugs ❤️

@EmPeEf fingers crossed 🤞🏻

@ForGiddyDreamer hopefully those two days did it 🤞🏻

@DorsetGirl89 I'm so sorry to read your update. You've a lot going on and you're so strong. How are things today?

@Kerrylf I'm the same. I was hoping to be pregnant again before my MMC's baby due date in August. I was but, obviously had another loss. The only thing that will fix it is a healthy baby in our arms x

@Another5am welcome and sorry about your chemical. Best of luck!

@Figtree11 welcome and sorry about your MMC's and that you're feeling negative. I think I remember your username from another thread.

@PeonyPatch welcome and best of luck!

@DoubleDandelion I hope you got down to it once you were at home 😉

@amey44 I can't see anything but I think the picture is just too dark. Do you have a brighter picture?

Mushroo · 24/07/2025 12:09

@DorsetGirl89 it also flagged to me it had spotted signs of PCOS. I was diagnosed as a teen but my cycles are fine now, so no reason for it to flag - I do wonder if it just says it to everyone to make you pay for premium…

amey44 · 24/07/2025 12:36

@SureLook I have these pics? I’d only be 7 or 8dpo i’m guessing so wasn’t expecting a line today but rlly hope I get one soon🤞🏻

@amey44 I can't see anything in that picture, sorry. You're still so early and there's still time 🤞🏻

Taysonic · 24/07/2025 14:48

@Nightshift110 I'm not sure what to say except for I'm so sorry you're in this limbo. Did they take bloods from you to check hcg levels after your scan? Hopefully they'll do 48 hour bloods (two tests, 48 hrs apart) so they can see what your hcg levels are doing. They'll know what they're looking for in terms of how quickly the levels are changing.

Here to hand hold. If you have any questions about treatment of ectopic for someone who has been kind of through it very recently, you know where I am.

Interesting, I suspected the same thing. Maybe unless you have 28 days cycles every month and ovulate day 14 they say you 'might' have PCOS and to pay for premium 🤔

Mushroo · 24/07/2025 15:43

@DorsetGirl89 i bet that’s it - my cycles are normally about 32 days which might be enough for the algorithm to flag it.

DorsetGirl89 · 24/07/2025 15:50

@SureLook I'm ok thanks, still super confused and I was very emotional last night, but there's nothing I can do right now but wait. Had bloods taken this morning for HCG and Progesterone.

I had a fainter line on this mornings test, it was just a shadow, so that makes me think it's not great news I suppose, at 12DPO I'd be expecting line to get stronger. I just hope if it is another chemical that there was still enough HCG in my blood for test to pick it up today, otherwise I'm going to have to convince Dr I was pregnant at all 😬

I'm still getting symptoms today (sore boobs, headaches, light-headed floaty feeling) last cycle I had already stopped having symptoms by this point, so I don't know what that means. I've started spotting more, brown/pinky brown. No bad cramping though, just mild pulls.

I'm just resting, eating healthy, staying hydrated and being kind to myself.

Hope everyone is doing well today 😙❤️ xxx

SureLook · 24/07/2025 17:33

@DorsetGirl89 I can totally understand you feeling emotional last night. It's so hard! How long will it take to get the blood results?

EmPeEf · 24/07/2025 17:34

I actually can’t believe my old ass, broken body has managed to do it again.

I got my first faint line early middle of the night Thursday morning, and confirmed with a Clearblue in the day during my chemical. Then by Friday I was spitting, Saturday bleeding and a negative test. So I feel so cautious and odd about it.

I just know with mine and my partner’s age that we’re more likely to lose it, but I have more symptoms this time. Tired, hungry, sick, and lots of weird tugging and twisting feelings but not in a scary cramps way.
I might message my midwife unit to ask if there’s anything I could be doing or taking to improve my chances.

Amazing @EmPeEf !! So happy for you and I really really hope it sticks 🤞🏻 those symptoms sound promising for good hormone production! Keep testing, we can't wait to see progressions. Sending a huge hug ❤️🥰❤️ xxx

P.S. how old are you and your partner btw? My partner and I are 36 & 46, so we're not spring chickens (although I'm a tad more springy than him 😆) xx

Mummysparrow · 24/07/2025 18:07

@Figtree11how are you doing? I have been diagnosed with PCOS with hyperandrogenism. I have normal cycles but have PCOS hormonally 😬
Thankfully it hasn't stopped me from conceiving.
We have been on this journey together for ages do I hope you get your BFP soon.
@EmPeEfcongratulations. How old are you if you don't mind me asking? X

SureLook · 24/07/2025 18:29

@EmPeEf tentative congratulations! I really hope it sticks ❤️

FarAwayBird · 24/07/2025 18:31

@EmPeEf probably doesn’t hurt to ask!

Also catching up on other posts - sorry @amey44 I can’t see anything but as Surelook says, it’s still early!

I think ovulation is today so starting the 2WW tomorrow and already feeling kind of defeated. Not sure why. I think I’m just tired this month.

Edited

We’re both 40 and a half lol. Birthdays within a fortnight of each other. So my eggs are as old as his stuff lol. You have lovely younger eggs going for you!

Figtree11 · 24/07/2025 19:05

@EmPeEf brilliant, I hope this is a sticky one

@Mummysparrow we sure have been on this journey a long time now 😔 how are you doing?

@DorsetGirl89 hope you are doing ok today

Mummysparrow · 24/07/2025 19:11

@DorsetGirl89@EmPeEfi am also 36 and I questioned how fresh my eggs are 🤣 apparently at 36 60% of your eggs are good and 40% are faulty 😬
@Figtree11i am ok. 5 weeks pregnant and hanging on for dear life 🤣

Figtree11 · 24/07/2025 19:12

@Mummysparrow oh I didn’t realise! Congratulations, I hope it progresses well

amey44 · 24/07/2025 19:26
